Chapter 15

"Lyric can we play with your hair?"
"Only if you guys are gentle with it Ok?"
"We promise we won't  hurt you" The three girls were so cute. I've been spending more time with them playing house and games outside. Amaya and Kay were brushing my hair while Chay braided it. They were very careful not to hurt me.
"So when are you and uncle Aug getting married" Kay asked. She was so adorable.
"Well I don't know yet. You should ask him that"
"Can I be your flower girl at your wedding if  you guys get married"
"No I want to be the flower girl"  Amaya said
"Guys stop...Lyric Can choose who she wants" Cay said she was so grown and more mature.
"Well how about all three of you guys become my flower girls.. how does that sound?"
"That's amazing...come on guys let's go look for our dressed to wear" May shouted. All three of them ran to their rooms and just left me with messy hair.
"Wow just like that" they were such a handful. August walked in.
"Whats up with you ma, you didn't feel like doing your haur today"
"Well your girls decided to mess it up and they just left me like this" he laughed so loud
"Well that's what you get for  letting them play with your hair..here let me help you"
He helped me unplait the knots and comb it.
"August someone is here for you" Chandra shouted from the door
"I'm coming" he walked to the other side  towards the door.
I heard a girl talking to August so my nosy ass went to go see who it was. When I got to the door a girl was standing there holding a watch. Looking like she caught  an attitude.
"What are you doing here Bria" August asked her dryly.
"You not even gonna let me in?"
"Well I'll be upstairs...I'll  check on the girls" Chandra said as she walked away.
Who was she anyways and why is she here? I asked myself.
"Hi ...Im Bria" she extended her hand for  me to shake...before I could shake her hand August pushed her hand away.
"And what was that August" I asked confused. Why is every One acting weird and shady.
"I'm sorry who are you?"
"Like I said I'm Bria" she said with  an attitude, she looked at August
"I brought your watch back you left it at my place the other  night"
"You could have kept  it you didn't have to come here. You can leave now"
"Excuse me! What do you mean he left it at your place" I was getting pissed off now. What is it that they're not telling me.
"Bria just leave man"
"Oh so now you're acting cold but you were all up in my arms not so long ago"
"In your arms...August who is this Bitch thinking she can come here and be disrespectful"
"Oh you must be the girl he's dating...I'm  sorry to tell you sis but we fixed our thing" she said pointing at August
"Man get out Bria...you're  tripping  right now. Nothing is fixed between us. Just get the fuck out of here" He pushed her out the door and shut it closed. I can't believe what's happening right now.
"You better explain yourself before I lose it"
"It's not what it looks like Lyric" he said walking towards me and tried to take my hand .
"Don't touch me....what the fuck did you do August?"
"Baby things just happened so fast, I was drunk and wasn't thinking straight baby please believe me"
"What the FUCK DID YOU DO AUGUST YOU'R NOT ANSWERING ME RIGHT NOW" I was on the verge of crying and lashing out.
"Baby calm down I can explain everything. It was a mistake I promise. One thing led to another...baby please" I pushed him to the side and walked outside.
"I wanna talk to you " I shouted at Bria as she was about to get in her car.
"What do you want..clearly you saw he wants you"
"What  happened between you guys?"
"Why don't you asked your man...I  don't owe you an explanation"
"Well the least you could do is tell me what happened"
"Well he walked me to my place after the party  the other night and he ended up sleeping at my place. We had sex ok."
"Wow...and you knew he had a girl but you had the nerve to open your legs for him.."
"First of all August and I have history so I don't know what you're on about. We had a thing before you even  came into the picture so don't even come at me with that bullshit"
I dont know what came over me but I slapped her so hard. She pulled my shirt and tried slapping me back. I kicked her in her stomach and jumped on her and brought her to her knees. I just lost it and went in  hard.
I felt arms grabbing me from behind and pulling me back. It was August he carried me inside the house. Chandra was also outside trying to hold Bria back. I knew I beat her well and I was satisfied. But at this moment I just wanted to break down. August carried me into his  room and shut the door. At this point I couldn't hold  my tears  any more I just cried hard. He tried holding me but I wouldn't  let him.
"Get off me August..I hate you...how could you do this to me"
"Baby I'm sorry...it didn't mean anything..baby please I'm sorry" he tried  pulling me close to him.
"Let me go August..let me go please. I don't want you, let me go" I punched him as he tried to pull me towards him.
"How could you" was all I could say. I finally gave in and he just held me in his arms. We were both on the floor and both crying. He was rocking my body back and forth
"Baby I love you...I'm  sorry I messed up. I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking...We were talking and catching up. We were both in the moment baby. And one thing led to another...I'm sorry Lyric"
" I want to leave. I just want to go home" I stood up from the floor and started packing my clothes. He tried  stopping me.
"August please just let me go, I don't want to see you right now. I just want to go home"
"Please don't leave me. Baby atleast tell me you still love me"
"Just let me go ok" I finished packing my clothes I don't even know if I'll catch a flight today but I just need to leave. I walked to Chandra who was in the kitchen walking up and down.
"Are you ok...? I'm so sorry my brother did this to you"
"I just want to go home, can you drive me to the airport?"
"Ya sure let me help you with your bags"
We packed my bags in the car as August watched  with  tears in his eyes. I didn't care at this point I just wanted to leave. Shiela isn't around I guess they'll tell her themselves. I didn't even say bye to August or anyone for that matter I just got inside the car. We drove to the airport and on our way there I was busy searching online for the next available flight and lucky  enough I found one that was leaving within 3 hours. I booked one going straight to my moms place. I just needed to be with her right now.
