Lyric finally gets to move in with her dad (who was an alcholic) whom she hasn't seen in 5years. The neighborhood she once new has changed a bit. She meets August Alsina a drug dealer who runs the streets. Will they make it work?
I was in the kitchen with August mother Shiela and he's sister Chandra preparing lunch for everyone. They were getting to know me and I must say I felt right at home with all the hospitality I've been getting. I was busy chopping the vegetables while Chandra was working on the salad, Shiela did all the extra hard work. "I'm so glad August came with you, he's only brought one girl and that was years back" he's mother said. "Really, I mean August can get any girl he wants I'm just shocked he really hasn't been in relationships much in the past" I replied "Well my boy takes love very seriously, he just doesn't throw that word around. I'm just glad to see him so happy" "Well your son makes me happy too" "So Lyric what is it that you do..you seem very young" Chandra asked me "Well i'll be turning 21 soon. Back at home I have a art studio were I give art lessons and sell paintings. But I've closed that for a while because I had to move back to Underberg to live with my dad. And I found a small job there in a music store" "Well that seems interesting I like that. Get your money girl" A few minutes later August walked in with the biggest grin on his face. "I must be the luckiest man having all my women in one kitchen" he smiled "Hey son, food is almost ready are you going somewhere?" "Nah I've been chilling with my niggas...can I borrow my lady for a minute" I smiled on the side, I liked it when he set boundaries like that calling me he's woman. "Ya sure...but bring her back we need extra hands in here" he's mother replied back. I followed behind him as he walked outside to the back yard. He sat down on the grass and I sat in between he's thighs with my back facing him. He wrapped he's arms around me and laid he's chin on my shoulder. "So how is everyone treating you?" He asked wanting to know "Well they've been great actually, I feel like I fit in" "Well I'm glad. This is a huge step for me and I just wanted you to see another side of me. Tomorrow we celebrating Mel's birthday. We come together every year and do a small gathering to honour he's name" "Are you ready to face tomorrow? " "To be honest I'm never ready when it comes to talking about him and having to remember that he's no longer with us. But a nigga always pulls through so I'll get through it" "Well I'm here for you. You don't have to face it alone. I'm proud of you and how far you've come" "Thank you ma...that really means a lot to me. You know what I've been thinking?" "Mmm?" "I've been really thinking about my brothers words and how he wanted me to do better and not follow in he's footsteps. I want to stop this drug business and start making clean money. I don't even know if it will be possible but I'm willing to try" "As long as you are doing your best August and actually taking steps to change only then you'll see results" "I'll think about it some more. Well I'm sure they need you in the kitchen now" I turned my whole body around to face him and wrapped my legs around he's waist. I also wrapped my arms around he's neck and looked at him. "Well they can wait for a few minutes I'm still bonding with you.....I love you August" Right there he leaned in for a kiss and it turned into a make out session. He grabbed My ass with he's hands and leaned in even more. I used my tongue and swirled it around in he's mouth. Our heads were turning as the kiss got deeper. I pushed him slowly so he would lie on he's back on the grass and I got on top of him not breaking our kiss. "What are y'all doing" I heard the girls screaming and rushing towards us. We both broke the kiss so fast and tried acting normal. "Hey girls we were just...ummm hugging" August said nervously. I was embarrassed at this point. "No you were not we saw you uncle" Kay said with a naughty smile. "No no we don't do that" I tried to cover up our lying ass. "Well girls I'm going to leave you to play with Lyric " he said standing up and dusting himself. "August you can't just leave me" "Come on baby they want to play with you, you've got this" he said smiling and walking away. "So Lyric are you into Disney princess?" Amaya asked. "Well yes. Do you guys have any?" "Yes we do come play with us in our play house " the older one said. I'm guessing she's Chay man I have to keep up with these names. We all walked into their bedroom and I spent most of my time there playing house and bonding with them. A few minutes later lunch was ready and we all feasted as a family.
