We spent Saturday night at H/N’s place Sunday we went for another bike ride. I love riding that bike sitting behind him with my arms wrapped tightly around his waist the vibration of the machine between my hips.
He dropped me off at my place because he had to get up early the next morning and we both knew that if we spent the night together we would not get much rest. And that he had to get up early every day this week so for the next week he would come by my place for dinner then go to home to sleep.
It was driving me nuts but what really was going to kill me was that he wouldn’t be able to come over on Thursday night he had plans that he couldn’t break with his friends and I didn’t want to seem like a spoiled girlfriend so I figured I would see if Paige and Alicia would want to come over and catch up cause they didn’t know about my ring yet.
Every morning he would send me a short but sweet text ‘Morning Beautiful, hope you have a great day. I luv u.’
‘Morning Baby, hope you have a nice day. Luv u 2.’ I answered.
So Thursday rolled around as I got ready for work his text came in and I answered him. I got dressed ate something then I went to work walking through the morning like a zombie minus the eating brains thing.
Then at lunch I sent the girls a message ‘Want to come over to my place tonight?’ Then waited for an answer it was Alicia I heard from first.
‘Sure what time? What can I bring for dinner?’ Alicia asked.
‘Whatever you want I have some news. Do you know what Paige is up to tonight?’ I typed.
‘She is at work so she may not have got your message yet I will swing by the food court and talk to her but you know she will come. What news???’ she said.
‘Not until tonight my house about 7.’ I answered.
The afternoon went a little better and 5 p.m. came just in time. I drove home as I unlocked the front door my phone went off it was Paige.
‘Sorry just got off. Alicia stopped bye and told me about the plan. Yes 7 p.m. sounds like a good time. I will bring some liquid libations.’ Her message said.
‘Wonderful see you both then’ I typed to her as I walked into the door. I kicked my shoes off then headed to my bedroom to change my phone went off again I picked it up expecting to see that it was Paige or Alicia but it was H/N. I felt a smile form across my lips and my heart skipped a beat.
‘Hey D how has your day been?’ he asked.
‘Good afternoon Baby, my day drug by very slowly. Going to miss seeing you tonight but the girls are coming over for dinner and some girl time. So hope you enjoy your guy time.’ I messaged back.
‘Just poker night and a few beers is all we have planned.’ H/N answered.
‘Good luck win big’ I said.
‘I hope to. I need to go get into the shower I smell. Luv u.’ he replied.
‘Alright Baby ttyl luv u 2’ I responded as I stuck my phone in my back pocket grabbed a soda out to the fridge and headed to the bathroom to shower before the girls got here.
After my shower I through on some comfy clothes and headed back into the living room as I walked by the kitchen I glanced at the clock it was 6:30. I continued to the couch dropped down on it and grabbed the remote clicking on the TV then flipped through the channels looking for something to watch.
About 45 minutes pasted then there was a knock at my door I jumped up and rushed to the door. I opened the door so fast that flew out of my hand and smacked the wall causing both Paige and Alicia to jump.
