The Prompt: Soulmate AU where Person A and Person B don't see colors until they see each other.
Characters: Garroth Ro'Meave and Cadenza Zvahl (Aphmau)

(Cadenza's POV)
Everything was grey.
The sun, the sky, the grass, even a rainbow, was monochromatic, sad, and dark for me.
Most people can't see colors until they find their soulmates or until they're in their late teens, however, in my 18 years of life, I have never seen color.
That's right. I, Cadenza Zvahl, have not found my soulmate and I'm 99% sure I'm not going to at this point. My brother Laurance, however, found his relatively quickly. It was Lucinda, which was, interesting, to say the least. He told em wonderful things about color. That it made things more joyful, and made you feel more emotion.
I can only wonder what that's like.

"Laurance, why am I, of all people, helping you color coordinate when I can't see color?" I asked, annoyed. Laurance smiled.
"Because then I know you aren't judging my choices. That and Lucinda wouldn't help me." Laurance said, hanging up a banner for Aphmau and Aaron, who were coming back from their first vacation together. Everyone flooded into the living room of Laurance's house as we waited for Aphmau and Aaron, and that was when I saw him. The guy who changed my life. Garroth Ro'Meave. He was best friends with Laurance, so I did my best to avoid them.
But when I looked at him, I saw something different. Something new. Something... unique.
When I looked at him, I saw color.

(Garroth's POV)
I haven't seen color in 19 years. I was always envious of Laurance because he had met his soulmate before me, and they seemed so happy together. I walked into his house to see Aphmau and Aaron when they arrived home, and that was when I saw her. From that moment forward, I wasn't the same.
Because when I looked at her, my whole world got brighter.
When I looked at her, I saw color.

(Cadenza's POV)
I stared at him, and he stared back. I moved to the kitchen. He had the most gorgeous blonde hair, that looked so fluffy. He came into the kitchen.
"Did you just-?" He started.
"See color? Yes, I did." I said, blushing.
"Garroth Ro'Meave." He smiled, sticking his hand out to me. I took it and shook it, as he proceeded to kiss my hand.
"Cadenza. Cadenza Zvahl." I said, knowing this was my soulmate, and boy, was I excited to be his.
