"You can't be the hier to the throne. You're a female." My father laughed. I raised my eyebrow, my mouth open wide.

  "That shouldn't matter! It should matter how I lead the damn country, not my gender!" I shot back, holding the crown on my head.

  "Veronica..." My mother started, in a warning tone. A royal guard entered quietly as my father rubbed his temples.

  "S-Sire... It's time for the royalty to walk. We've already gathered Prince Vincent downstairs.." The guard sputtered our, clearly nervous to be in the presence of the king.

  "Give your brother the crown when we get downstairs. You will not walk in it." I gasped.

"I'll walk in the crown or I won't walk at all."

"Listen to me. Listen to the words coming out of my goddamn mouth, Veronica. You will give your brother the crown and you will walk without it." He got up in my face, practically spitting on me. "Got it?"

I sighed, shaking my head, too tired to resist anymore and walked downstairs, spotting Vincent, my twin brother, with his sly smile.

"Where's my crown, lovely sister?" He smirked and I narrowed my eyes, shoving the crown towards him.

"You have mud on your face.." I started, wiping the dirt off with my thumb. I walked away and glared at him. Then, the walk started and I put up a front, like I always did.

I'll get my revenge. One day.

it's been a minute-

sorry i've been super busy with school, and i'm actually going on break in two days, so hopefully i'll be writing more. i've also had really bad writers block recently but hopefully that'll clear up! this one is really rushed and not the best, but i based it off a tiktok i saw! i hope you enjoy this, it's not the best but it's something ! :)
