PROMPT: Before they started dating, P1 and P2 are best friends. Like the best friends that have known each other since they were in diapers. Whenever P1 would get upset, hurt or just really tired, they would snuggle up on P2 and nuzzle their face into the crook of P2's neck. It's completely platonic, nothing romantic about it whatsoever.
When P1 and P2 finally confess their feelings for one another and begin dating, P1 immediately snuggles up in 'their' spot on P2 and just completely relaxes. P2 asks why they always do this, and P1 replies that it makes them feel safe and calm.

Seven years. That was how long Soonyoung and Jihoon had been friends. Starting in their pre-debut days, up to now, they'd always been there for one another, and even if Jihoon never showed it, he really cared for Soonyoung. Soonyoung was his rock. His safe place. When they were together, Jihoon felt safe and calm.

Jihoon got stressed very easily, so having Soonyoung around really helped him keep in stress in check. Jihoon had been in the studio for about 8 hours when Soonyoung came and sat with him. Normally, Jihoon would've told him to leave, but not today. Jihoon just sighed and laid his head in the crook of Soonyoung's neck, which immediately helped him feel relaxed and calm. Soonyoung never questioned why he did this, he just let him be and enjoyed his company until Jihoon yelled at him to get out, understanding that it was all 100% platonic.

It wasn't until a few months later when the two boys developed feelings for one another. Jihoon, being anything but great at explaining his feelings, wrote Soonyoung a little poem, to which Soonyoung replied, "Oh my God, you dork, I love you", with a little giggle. Jihoon was ecstatic. So the two began dating. The members supported them, as did the Carats, who were overjoyed to hear the news of one of their favorite ships suddenly becoming canon. Everything was great.

Soonyoung was sat in the studio with Jihoon late one night as he put the finishing touches on a song he was working on. Jihoon groaned and rubbed his temples as Soonyoung rubbed his back, from where he was laying on the couch. Jihoon got up and laid next to Soonyoung, laying his head in his spot, immediately relaxing, letting his body mold with Soonyoung's. Soonyoung giggled, putting an arm around him.

"Hey Ji," Soonyoung asked. Jihoon made a noise that sounded like a mixture of 'hm' and 'umph' as Soonyoung laughed. "Why do you always lay your head there?"

Jihoon went red as he hid his face from Soonyoung, giggling.

"Answer me~" Soonyoung said cutely, giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

Jihoon sighed and looked at him. "I don't really know. Every time I'm stressed or upset or tired, I just feel so relaxed when I lay there. It honestly helps me stay calm when I get stressed like this," He stopped briefly. "I don't know. It's dumb.. If you want me to stop I can."

     Soonyoung shook his head. "Don't stop," He started. "If it helps you, it helps. I'm not gonna take that away from you. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I did that?"

      Jihoon laughed and laid his head on Soonyoung's shoulder, playing with his hair. "A really shitty one."

      "Exactly."

      "Hey Soonyoung?"

       Soonyoung looked up. "Yeah?" He asked, eyes wide and curious.

       "I love you~" Jihoon said quietly.

       "I love you too Ji, so much." Soonyoung mumbled, never wanting to leave for this spot.
