There he stood, in the manifestation of his own mind. He could see with his own eyes here thanks to a trick in the force.

Looking the woman who claims to be his mother over. He finds he does hold a resemblance to her. His nose is more angular while hers is more rounded. His jaw is sharper while hers has a gentler flow to it. He stood a head taller than her. Her brow was thinner than his. But if you ignore what he got from his father he did look like this woman.

"Is this the connection we share? One of mother and son? And with the girl back there, in reality, am I related to her as well?"

"Yes, your my oldest child. She's my second and naturally my youngest. She's fourteen Ezra, little more than a little girl. If you feel the need to kill me I won't delay the inevitable. But please, don't hurt her, that's all she's ever known from almost everyone in her life."

"What is her name?" 'If I'm really going to buy this I'll need confirmation from both ends.' "Her name is Emilia, Emilia Bridger. Your little sister." Taking a step forward to have the ability to loom over her, he looks her in the eyes. 'Nothing in there but worry and sadness. As good a sign as she could give me.' "I'll be the judge of that, woman." Reaching out with the force, ending the vision, showing he had control over it all along, he then forces her into a sleep-like state. "Now I know you can't interfere with what's to come."

Snapping out of his daze he looks around the frozen lake. Spotting Emilia in the same spot she was in but now sitting on her knees. The dull thud of Mira hitting the ice when she fell got her attention.

"Your mothers dead, Emilia, and soon, you will be too." Striding forward he attacks. A wide horizontal swing of his saber was met with open air. "Your speed won't save you from me now. Your mother's little trick didn't take a lot of energy to break free from."

Placing nearly all of his concentration into seeing with the force. Allowing him to see even the smallest of movements, all within a fraction of a second. "I've seen threw you, Emilia. Surrender now, and I might let you live."

"You killed mother, you monster!" Rushing forward she slashes upward with the front blade of her saber. Deactivating his saber to avoid hers, he then leans in at an angle to avoid the second blade and grabs her wrist. Applying all the strength he could from his left hand to her wrist forcing her to drop the saber. "Tell me, Emilia, who is your father?"

Dropping to one knee from the pain coming from her wrist, she looks Ezra in the eye. "Ephraim Bridger! Just like you!" The grip on her wrist lessened. Ezra leaned in next to her ear. "Oh really, that's my dad's name too. That's quite a coincidence." Throwing her left hand up with the intention of throwing him away from herself with the force. He puts his right hand up and uses the force to push into her push, creating a lock. "Did you really think that that'd work, dear sister?" Letting go of her wrist he overpowers her and pushes her way.

"Ya know, Lil sis, you focus too much on the actual fight. Your mind was completely open to me. Do you know what I saw within your mind?"

"No, no I don't." Reaching out to the familial bond he shares with his sister, he speaks into it. 'Oh, but I think you do, Emilia.' "Get out of my head, you monster!" Again she feels him speak to her threw their bond. 'The fight is over, Emilia. When I looked through your memories I saw everything I needed to see. Also, I didn't kill mother, simply but her to sleep for a while so I could do this without interference.'

She felt him separate from their bond. Looking towards him she sees him making way for their mother. She runs towards them, not entirely believing that he has no ill intentions for her mother. "Stay away from her!" Kneeling down in front of Mira he reaches out with the force and wakes her.

They didn't quite know what to do. They all could see that the battle was over, but somehow their all still alive and now seem to be conversing with one another.

"Should we attack?" One of the clan members asked Ursa from some point behind her. "No, I do not think there will be any more violence today."

Sabine couldn't believe he somehow talked them down from there homicidal intentions. "And you said you'd die out there." She sighed in relief and went to their room to return to bed. She didn't quite know how, maybe it was the baby or maybe Ezra. But she could simply feel it in her bones that the fight was over.

Tristan didn't know why or how he wound up in the med bay. 'The last thing I remember was talking with Ezra.' "What'd that son bitch do to me!" He screamed as he shot up from his bed only to be hit by an extreme headache, a sudden bought of vomiting, which was brought on by sudden vertigo. Hitting the floor and falling into his own vomit did not prove his mood. "EZRAA!"

Kanan couldn't help but sigh in relief when he felt the newfound peace that washed over Ezra. 'I knew you could do it. I just hope you didn't play up the theatrics while you were at it. That always lands you in more trouble.' "love, think you can go again?" Hera asked from her side of the bed. "Of course, love."

Darth Vader stood several feet behind the throne that sat only a few feet from a massive circular window. The throne currently housed the Emperor, Sheev Palpatine. The darkness from the endless void of space that was let into the chamber by the massive circular window filled the large room. "It seems I've made a grave mistake, Lord Vader. I did not believe her plan would actually succeed. Now it seems there is much for you to do in the days to come. Do not fail me, Lord Vader, we cannot allow them to go unchallenged any longer than we already have. Destroy them, kill them all and take the child, he will be your apprentice when he's become of age. Now leave me."

This concludes the story so far. The sequel is 'INCROACHING DARKNESS'. Chapter one will be released at the same time as this final chapter. If not, tell me since that means I forgot to do that. Thank you for reading, I'd like to hear all of your thoughts on the story. May the force be with you.
