Sebastian Pontrov's POV

I RAN.

I ran as fast I can, well... more like limping as fast as I can. I do not know which way I was going but the only thing I can trust right now is my instinct. A few rogues were trailing behind me, trying their hardest to catch or slow me down, but it was a futile attemp. My superior genes as a pure-blooded werewolf royalty coupled with my desire to live and rescue my betas enhanced my speed twice of that of a normal alpha. I dashed left, and then right, trying my hardest to lose them.

'Uly... Clint... I swear, if I get out of this alive, I will avenge you, even if I have to face the devil himself.' I thought while still running. I had been running for 10 minutes now, and the distance between me and the rouges have grown cosiderably. My injured paw had also partially healed, making my speed raise a notch.

Suddenly, I heared a howl. No... Not a howl. More like a shriek. Then, a group of white blurred figures suddenly pounced on the rogues that are following me. With my superior eyesight, I can immediately make out the blurry figures. A white canine-like animal as big as a huge dog. Their furry skin are of the same color as that of winter snow. Their figure, is somewhat a cross between a feline and a dog, with long snouts and sharp small teeth, with a icy blue crescent moon shaped mark angled downwards on their foreheads. I recognize them instantly. Although I have not seen them personally until now, I have read passages and stories about them while I was studying with my tutor.

They were once hailed as the most intelligent creatures in the whole dweller kingdom. They are also the longest living dwellers, second only to the Council. However, many years ago, back before even the first werewolf king, Lupin, established the were kingdom, they suddenly vanished. According to my tutor, the members of the Council back then were threatened by the intelligence and the growing power of these creatures, so they drove them out away from the dwellers' world.

Since then, no one ever seen them, as if vanishing like a phantom. They are the creatures of legends, and I never thought that after thousands of years, I will be the first one to see them, face to face. The Kitsune.

I was stunned. I did not even realized that I stopped running, instead, I stared at those legendary creatures, summoning blue fires, burning those nasty rouges into ashes. I also happen to know these blue flames, the Fox Fire.

All of the dwellers have their own unique abilities exclusive only to their race. In example, us werewolves, we have ability the superheal, regardless of how severe the wounds are, as long as you are not dead, you can heal them. You can even regrow your missing limbs! Witches can draw power from nature, and manipulate it. Vampires can hypnotize people, and make them do things at their own bidding.

I stared at the fight happening before me. I cannot believe what I am witnessing. A legendary figure, right before your eyes. I admit, even though I am down to my last energy trying to keep myself from fainting from all the fatigue, I cannot help but feel giddy and excited. This must have what fangirls felt when they met their idols for the first time.

A moment later, a sudden wave of nausea hit me. My vision starts to go blurry, and my legs wobbled, almost failing to support my weight. I cannot faint right now. I am still not safe. Although the kitsunes have attacked the rougue that are chasing me, that does not mean we are on the same side. For all I know, they might also attack me.

Fighting the urge to drop down, I steeled myself and stabilized my mind as I continued to ran the opposite way.

"Hey, where are you going!?" a male voice shouted amidst the fight. They must have noticed that I slipped out. However, I heed no mind to the voice as I continued to run.
