Family Meeting~

~Meliodas's POV~

Me and Ellie are hanging out, until 3pm. It's currently 1:23pm, so only like an hour and a half left. Her father doesn't get back from his buisness meeting until 2:30pm, which is why I'm hanging out in her room.

Suddenly, Veronica barges in.

"ELLIE, YOU HAVEN'T BEEN DOWN EVER SINCE YOU WOKE-" then she sees me in her room.

"Oh, hey Meliodas. How'd you get in??" Veronica asks, raising one eyebrow up. How do people do that?

"I climbed up the tree and entered through the balcony." I responded, with a smug face.

"And how long have you been doing that?"

"Since yesterday."

"Ohh, when yall went on that date." she says, followed by a wink.

"Mel feel free to slap her whenevs." Elizabeth says, slouching on her bed whilst on her phone, which made me chuckle.

"I'm used to it, don't worry." I respond.

Margaret also enters in after.

"You guys hang out so much.." Margaret says.

"Yeah, Ellie never once used to leave her house, she was one lazy cow." Veronica says, rolling eyes. I could tell she was joking when calling her a cow.

"Am not. I ALWAYS went out." Ellie says, half red. I could tell she was bluffing.

I took the phone off her, teasing.

"Melllll what are you doing??" she asks, kind of irritated but in a fun way.

"You always went out but yet so antisocial. You kill me." I say.

"I didn't go out because nobody liked meeee." Elizabeth groans, trying to snatch the phone off me.

"Impossible. You're a hot yet kind princess. Two in one." I give a wink.

She blushes, and stops trying to take the phone off me, realising I was going to win.

"You literally act like boyfriend and girlfriend, why aren't you??" Margaret asks.

"W-we do?" Elizabeth stammers.

"I mean we have kissed plenty of times." I say, just to tease her more.

"YOU KISSED??" Veronica asked, shocked.

"Only like twice." Elizabeth says, nervously.

I kiss her for around 10 seconds then break it off, leaving her in a blushing mess.

"Three times now." I say, smirking.

She tries to cover the blush with her pillow, but I take it away.

"Stop covering that beauty, princess~" I say, bringing my eyes closer to hers, and still smirking.

By now, she's having a proper blushing temper, but it starts to dim down when her father unlocks the door. Margaret and Veronica rush downstairs, to greet him, whilst Elizabeth rushes to get changed, in which she shoved me out the room, but I still managed to peek somehow.

When she walked out, she was wearing a yellow frilly dress, with makeup, and her hair all styled. How does she have time for all this, she does it so quickly??

My jaw practically drops at how pretty she is. I mean, she's always this pretty, but she needs to stop self-doubting herself. I bet all the guys in school like her..

No, don't think like that. You'll only start to get jealous.

"I- uhh....w-wow.." I stammer. I'm shocked I even managed to get a gasp of air out my mouth, she was so pretty.

"What?? Do I look bad??" she asks, but how could she ask such a thing?

"Y-youre so..beautiful..I don't even know what to say......wow..." I say, still shocked. She can literally pull off anything.

She blushes a lot, and we head downstairs.

Even her father was impressed with her beauty, which is no surprise to me, since everyone probably would be.

"Guys, seriously. If I really look this bad you can tell me!" she says, looking at all of us with a confused gazed, as we return with a shocked look. Seriously, she looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

"Stop self-doubting yourself, you look amazing." I say, with a grin, whilst her  father nods in agreement.

"So..Meliodas, right?" her father says.

"Yes, sir."

"Thank you so much.." he says, with tears of joy. I was confused, he went in for a hug, and I hugged back.

"For what, sir?" I asked.

"For making our Ellie happy again!" Veronica jumps in, a softer tone than usual, very bright and positive.

"Yes, before you came, Elizabeth was always upset. She always had trouble making friends, which lead to her not eating, and self harming. The first time we saw her smile again was her first day back, walking with you. We were so happy, we could hardly contain it." Margaret explains.

I look over at Elizabeth, with emotional tears in her eyes. I walk over to her, and give her a big hug, and I wrap my arms around her waist.

"I still can't believe such a kind and gorgeous girl like you gets treated like this...Elizabeth, I'll always protect you, no matter what."

I see her go red, and her father is so happy to see someone she can bond with.

"JUST ASK HER OUT ALREADY!!" Veronica screamed.

"SISTER STOPPPPP." Elizabeth screamed back.

"Okay okay, let's settle down." her father said calmly.

"Sir, may I talk to you somewhere?" I ask. I knew what I had to do.

"Well of course. Excuse me, everyone." he mannered politely, and followed me somewhere private.
