~Merlin's POV~

Meliodas stands at the door. First of all, how did he even enter my house, does he not know how to knock?

"What are you doing here?" I ask, confused.

"You know why..I trusted you, and you repay my trust by hurting the one person who actually understands me." he says, with a hurt tone. He also seemed really pissed, judging by his facial expressions.

So, Liz told him? I guess no money for her then. Shame aswell, I had a lot.

"So Liz told you, hm?" is all I could ask, for now.

"Well no shit. Why Merlin? Why would you choose to hurt Elizabeth? Why not me?" he asks. He had so many questions, which irritated me. I wasn't in the mood for his questions, so I roll my eyes, and he scowls at me.

"Damn, you can't even answer-" I interrupted him.

"It was no harsh feelings, I needed to test out a potion." I say. I never intended on hurting anyone, why can't they see that?

"So...you decided to set a curse on us..and hurt us forever...just for a test???"

I'm finally catching on. He has feelings for her. I never realized. It seems obvious now that I look back on it.

"Well, I'm not paying her, if that's your issue. I was going to reverse it after anyways. I don't have anything against anybody. Now, leave me be with the questions. I did as you asked and answered. Experiments are experiments." I say.

Obviously it seems heartless, but we mages have to stick to our work. To us, work comes before love.

Meliodas storms off, his demon aura sensed more and more, but it goes calmer once Elizabeth follows.

What I'm wondering, is why didn't the spell activate? I saw him eat the food..

~Meliodas's POV~

I storm off. I'm fed up of their shit. I'm going to make a groupchat without Merlin and Escanor and explain the situation.

But before I do that, I had to return Elizabeth home before her family got worried.

"Elizabeth, I have to take you back home now, or your sisters will be worried." I say, with a sigh.

I wish our date could have been longer..

"Meliodas, if you take me home, could you stay on the balcony, I still want to talk." Elizabeth says, with a cute pout.

"I can't, I've gotta get home before Zel beats my ass. I'm sorry, Elizabeth." I respond, sadly.

"It's okay, thanks for tonight!" she exclaims.

She was thanking me..? But, tonight was chaeotic..

"Why're you thanking me? Tonight was absolute mayhem." I say, still driving.

"Well, dates are nice and all, but like I said, a perfect day for me would literally just be talking to you.." she says, blushing at what she just said. I blush too.

"Elizabeth..." I say, drifting off. I take her out of the car, but before I take her up the balcony, I kiss her. This time passionately, but we had to release, or both families would be mad.

I carry her up the tree, since I wasn't gonna let her climb by herself, and place her on the balcony.

"Can I see you tomorrow (Saturday)?" I ask.

"Of course!" she responds, smiling.

We wave each other goodbye, and I walk back to my house, smiling uncontrollably.

I go back, but before I knock the door, I check the time on my phone.

Shit..I thought. It's past the curfew.

Zeldris answers the door, and I expect some scolding, but he actually just chuckles at me. Weird...

"Zel, I'm sorry for going past curfew-"

"Don't apologize, my dude. As long as I know you're with Elizabeth, it's gucci." he says, interrupting me.

"How did you know I was with Elizabeth?" I ask, blushing.

"Well, that stupid smile you had when you were walking back....the blush you had, you're always sad when she's not around, but you were overjoyed."

I just blush even more at all that, then shove him to get up to my room. I hope she's still awake so I can message her.

~Elizabeth's POV~

I stare out the balcony, but this time smiling. Tonight was crazy, and I'm upset at Merlin, but I still got to spend time with Meliodas.

I turn around, about to go to my bed with my phone, until I see both my sisters and father infront of my bedroom door...

Oh no.. I thought.
