Unexpected Forsaken Love

Chapter 6: Guilt-Ridden

Jackson pov: I had seen that Amber was acting differently. Don't get me wrong she's awesome and always happy but whenever I go talk to her she has this strange aura that she never had before. So I told her to meet me at the cafeteria so I talk about that. A few minutes have passed while I was waiting so I went to go find her. I saw her running out of the bathroom to the back of the school. My first thought was that she was in danger. I quickly ran over there it took a while for me to get to the corner of the building when I saw a man forcing Amber into his car. Amber was getting kidnapped. I dropped my backpack and started rushing towards the car. Then the car just drove off. I quickly ran back as fast as I could to the office to report it. "Hey, My best friend Amber just been kidnapped you need to save her!" I said out of breathe. "Jackson calm down. Tell me how did she get captured?" Said the principal. " She was forced into a car now call 911 we don't have time". I yelled. The principle had call 911 and told them everything."How did the car look like?" Said the police officer. " I'm not sure I think white". I said. "We'll be watching out for a white vehicle. Said the officer. " Thank you, Jackson, for the warning of Amber you can now head into class". Said the principal. "Are you kidding me? I can't just continue class knowing my best friend could be in danger right now and I can't be there to help her." I said in frustration. "Jackson go". Fine, I thought. I swear I will find whoever that person is and teach him a lesson. Don't worry Amber I'll protect you.

Kris pov: When Amber told me to quickly start the car I noticed that there was a dude running towards us. So I just drove off hoping that dude won't get me in any trouble. I saw Amber she was looking at her phone. It was quite so I started off the conversation. " Who was that dude running towards us?" I said. "That's my best friend Jackson. I have to deal with him when I go home great". Amber said. " I thought I was your best friend". I said jokingly. " Number one we just meet. Number two you forced me into your car". I said with a hint of anger. " Sounds something best friends would do". Said Kris. "Well I don't know who you hang around with but nope best friends shouldn't be doing that". I said. He just put on an awkward but cute smile.

I just turned my face to the window and secretly smiled. I saw that we were passing buildings. " Where are we going?" I asked. "To lunch duh it's lunchtime". Kris said. " Well my lunch is over I should be in class right now". I said. "How about I take you to lunch we eat then I can take you back to class is that okay?". kris said. I thought about it for a while I can go back and I'll get in trouble either way I thought. Should I go back home or go to the Academy? I'll think about it on my way to lunch we headed into this Thai restaurant and we ordered our food and ate it.

We headed out and went into the car. " So are you ready to go back to the academy or what?". Kris said. I paused for a moment to think. "Kris please take me home". I said. Kris looked at me shocked maybe he was expecting me to go back to the academy and study. " Sure no problem". Said Kris." By the way, I have something to confess and it might not be something you expected it to be". He said. "What is it?" I asked. "I'm going to be enrolled in the Academy in two days". He said. " Oh okay that's nice I guess". I said. " You sound disappointed are you not happy you're going to be seeing me now." He replied. I just gave him an annoyed stare. That when he started to lean so close to me and just gave a wink.

I tried so hard not to blush but I couldn't tell whether I was or not. " Did you wanted me to say something else little llama?" Kris said in a deep voice. "No are you crazy what would I want you to say anyway just take me home so I can rest". I told him. " okay ". He said. That's it after he just leaned on me and gave me a wink all he says is okay I thought. Whatever I'm not into players anyway. I told him to drop me off at my sister's house so he won't come to bother me at my apartment. " Thanks for the food anyway". I said and stepped out of the car. "Anytime my little llama". He said and droved off. I took off my uniform and put on my actual clothes got my skateboard and decided to head out and just listen to music. I know I'm going to have to explain this to Jackson but that can wait.

Amber pov: I had arrived at the park and just laid there on the cold soft grass. With earphones and listening to my calming music. The academy was over 2 minutes ago. I sat up and got my skateboard and headed home. While I was skating to my house I saw police officers. One of them approached me. " Hey, young lady are you alright? Are you hurt?". He said. The first thing that popped in my head was did Jackson really did a report on me? "Yes, I'm fine I was out skateboarding for some fresh air." I said confidently. "There was a report that you were kidnapped by a white car is this true?" He said in a strict voice. "No, I just got a ride from a friend to go eat lunch". I said. " Tell me the truth Amber this is a serious crime". He said with a hint of anger. "I'm telling you the truth it was all a misunderstanding I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause worry". I said confidently so they won't suspect a thing. They finally decided to let me go home. I was skateboarding home when I saw someone sitting at the doorstep. It was Jackson I don't want to explain anything to him now great. He looked up and ran towards me and gave me a tight hug." Are you okay did that man hurt you?. He said. "Jackson I'm fine I'm not hurt I just decided to head out for some lunch and come home afterward okay. He gave me an angry annoyed face.

" Do you think I don't worry about you. Do you think I'm just going to let my best friend get kidnapped in a vehicle with a person you don't know." He said angrily." Jackson please not right now I just want to rest". I said. " Whoever that man is a bad influencer that you don't know".he said. " I do know him Jackson look I don't want to fight let's just go inside and eat something ok". He stood there in silence. "Fine only to make sure he won't return and hurt you okay". I just nodded. We both went inside and I headed to the bathroom while he turns on the tv and made a few snacks to eat. I felt guilty not paying enough attention to Jackson I know he only worries for me but he should know I'm grown up and not a little a kid. I feel awful lying to my best friend but it's for the best. Then all of a sudden I heard Jackson yelling my name. " Amber your so dead you hear me!"
