Later that night

Camila had texted Austin to meet up at her local diner. She was going to say Starbucks but after the scene that had happened a few days ago with her, Becky and Austin, it just didn't seem appropriate again.

So here she was, sitting at the counter and waiting for him. Camila still remembered what Becky had told her. She couldn't help but feel hopeful in a way. It didn't make sense to but if Austin still loved her, it was going to open up old wounds. And she didn't know if she could handle it.

When the bell sounded indicating someone was entering the diner, Camila looked up and found Austin. He made eye contact with her immediately and pointed at her when the host went up to him.

Now, she was nervous. Before, she knew what she wanted to tell him.

"Mila, sorry I'm late," he sat down next to her and signaled for a waiter.

"It's okay Austin," she says. It was almost a whisper.

"Can I get a black coffee?" He asks the waiter. "I'm sorry about the.. you know.. what happened at Starbucks a few days ago. I didn't mean to-"

"What are we really here for Austin?" She interrupted.

Austin looks ahead at the donuts in the case in front of them. He wanted to explain what happened the first time they broke up. But he knew he was on thin ice with Camila.

"I never stopped loving you," he said.

Camila scoffed at him and checked her phone. She had to remind herself to calm down before she gets worked up for nothing. He wasn't worth it.

"Austin please don't star-"

"Mila it's true," he put his hand on her's. Camila looked down at the physical contact. She almost missed it. Almost.

"I didn't want you to find out.." he whispered.

Camila raises an eyebrow. "Find out about?"

"Marie," he sighed. "It was a mistake. I had met Becky when we were arguing. I know it's no excuse," Austin voice faltered a little.

"You did this to us," Camila said taking her hand away.

He looked at her. "I know. I knew I messed up. When Becky told me she was pregnant.. I couldn't do it.. an abortion,"

Camila looked at him with a death glare. She wanted to hit him so badly. "But you told me to abort OUR child," she was starting to raise her voice at him.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. It didn't even make sense to her.

"I know what I said and did. And I regret it Mila,"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT! You out of all people don't get to call me Mila!" She was yelling at him and she didn't care if she was making a scene.

"Don't. Yell. At. Me." He stared her down. Camila saw it. This wasn't the man she had once fallen for. He had transformed into something different.

"I'm leaving. I don't know why I agreed to this," she got up and got her belongings and turned around. Until she felt his hand yanking her arm like it had been ripped out of its socket.

"It's been two years. And I wanted us to try again," he said sternly, gripping her even tighter. She was holding back her facial expressions. But she could feel the bruise on her arm starting to form.

"Austin you're hurting me," she winced.

Once he realized she was actually in pain, he let her go and was rubbing the spot he was just grabbing.
