After having fallen asleep for the past few hours, Lauren was the first to wake up. Camila was still sound asleep and she didn't want to disturb the photographer. She got out of the bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen. When she passed the living room, she couldn't help but notice her bag. And the piece of paper that Camila clearly didn't want her to see.
So she kept walking towards the kitchen. She was going to respect Camila's privacy and if she wanted to tell her, she would let her. She didn't want to keep disappointing the younger Latina.
Camila woke up to the sound of a phone ringing. But she noticed it wasn't her phone. It was Lauren's. Speaking of which, when she looked over and noticed the empty space next to her, she took Lauren's phone and went to go put on a robe.
"Lo?" she called out, descending the stairs.
"In the kitchen!" Lauren answers back. Camila passes the phone to her and sits down across from her.
"Thanks for staying with me," Camila looked down and started fiddling with the strings of her robe.
"Anytime Camila. You can always talk to me," Lauren reached over and grips her hand. Camila didn't pull away but it still didn't take away what had happened before they passed out on her bed. She was still incredibly upset with Lauren.
"Listen, I know I messed up by not telling you about Sofi... I should have told you. You're right. It wasn't fair of me to just only tell her father and not you," Lauren admitted. After thinking about everything, she put herself in Camila's shoes and understood where she was coming from. She would be upset too.
"Just.. no more keeping things from me. Well I mean... at least not things like this," she reasoned. Lauren smiled and opened her arms for her. Camila gets down from the stool and lets herself be engulfed by the woman in front of her. She wasn't going to admit it to her just yet, but she actually really liked Lauren's company.
"Deal," Lauren rubs her back and lets her go. She checks her phone to see a missed call from Lucy. Her face falls as she's reminded of what awaits her outside these four walls. Reality.
Camila notices the look on Lauren's face when she looked at her phone. "Who was it?" she asked curiously.
Lauren sighs and flips her phone over. "Just Lucy. She doesn't know I'm here right now,"
"I mean... do you really need to tell her where you are?"
"I wasn't gonna. But, now that you're well rested.. do you wanna maybe.. grab some brunch?" Lauren asks. Camila grins and nods in response.
"Yes I'll go to brunch with you," Camila gets down from her stool and walks back towards the stairs. "I'm gonna go get ready because I kinda look like shit right now," Lauren gives her a thumbs up. "Not in my eyes," she thought.
As she waits for Camila to come back down, she couldn't help but look at her purse from where she was sitting in the kitchen. She would hope at this stage in their 'friendship' Camila would feel comfortable going to her just as she did going to Camila.
It was a conversation she wanted to have with her.

Back upstairs, just when Camila is done showering, she hears her phone ring. It was Ally calling.
"Hello?" She answers, putting the phone on speaker.
"Hey Camila!"
"Hey Ally what's up?" She was a little worried about what Ally was about to say. At the end of it, she was still her client and was afraid that Ally was going to, once again, change up her wedding plans.
