Lauren was happy things were back on track with Camila. She was really upset after finding out Lucy had gone out of her way to confront her. It was between her and Lucy, not Camila.

That was the one thing she had to do today. Lauren needed to talk to Lucy about everything.

After hanging up the phone with Camila, she texted Lucy to meet up but before she could even get out the door, Lucy was already knocking on her door. "What? Did you plan to come over or something?"

Lucy walks in without even waiting for Lauren to let her through. "Yeah I was gonna ask if you wanted breakfast. Well, more like drag you with me." she chuckles.

Lauren was dumbfounded. She really didn't know what Lucy's end game was. The wedding was off, their relationship was pretty much over - well for Lauren it was but we know that was a conversation still waiting to happen.

"Am I missing something?" Lauren asks closing the door.

Lucy went in to peck her on the lips but when she was met with nothing but air, she frowned. "Baby what's wrong?" You look confused."

"Um... I am?" she says, more like questioning. "Lucy I... need to talk to you about a couple of things."

"Same here. I wanted us to start going to couples' therapy starting this week. I have a few-"

"Woah there. Lucy... I..." Lauren locks eyes with her so she could fully understand. "We can't do this anymore... I don't wanna... continue with our relationship." she gestures between the both of them.

Lucy set her bag down softly. She squints her eyes at her making Lauren a little uncomfortable right now.

"Don't say things like that babe," she says trying to hug her. Lauren pulls back from her.

"Lucy I mean it. It's over between us." she says. As much as Lauren was relieved, it was also heart-breaking as well. She'd known Lucy since high school. Lucy had been her first - through everything.

"It's her isn't it? That stupid fucking photographer." Lucy grits through her teeth.

"I don't wanna answer you if you're just gonna get yourself worked up."

"Tell me how long." she asks rubbing her temples.

"It's only been a few weeks." Lauren answers. She found herself starting to sweat a little. She didn't know why she was so nervous to have this conversation with Lucy. Maybe it was the fact that she looked as if she was gonna punch her in the jaw.

"The other night... you... we made love.." she begins.

Lauren knew she was going to bring it up. But how was she going to tell Lucy that it wasn't her that night. "It was a mistake Lucy..."

"A mistake?" Lucy asks, clearly upset. Lauren nodded, not able to make eye contact with her at this moment. "Lauren, are you really prepared to throw us down the drain like that? What happened to us only taking a break?"

Lauren takes a seat on her couch. "Lucy... you can't seriously think we were okay." she explains. "You and I... we're so distant now. We don't even talk everyday."

"And that's on you Lauren!" she accuses. "You gave up on us long before I stopped trying. Look at you now!"

Lucy starts raising her voice. "You're experimenting with this fucking woman who you barely know and putting her over me? I've been through so much with you and this is how you fucking repay me?"

That wasn't true at all. Lauren knew that deep down. Although she just met Camila, she felt a lot closer to her and Lucy. It was an instant connection from that first day she saw her at the school almost scolding Sofia. Camila was going to be the one for her. She felt that.
