It's been a few days since we've really talked about anything important, we left the house for the first time since we got home on Monday. It's now Tuesday and we have absolutely no idea what we want to do today, Raya, Christa, and I are trying to come up with ideas.

As we sit on the couch in Raya's sitting room, I'm leaning on Raya. "Maybe we could go to the park?" Christa suggests flatly. I really don't feel like going to the park, it's a little boring there. "No doesn't sound like much of an adventure," Raya takes the words right out of my mouth. I let out a sly smirk at Raya, then all of a sudden an idea comes to mind.

"Chris do you want to call a friend? I'm thinking we could go to Treytown just outside of the city," I suggest. I feel the tension in the room grow lighter from my suggestion. "Yeah sure, sounds like fun," Christa sings, she skips out of the room to call one of her friends.

I feel Raya's stunning eyes looking at me, I smirk as I look up into her beautiful eyes. "Why does she need a friend?" Raya asks. "I didn't want her to feel like a third wheel, because Britt is at work and Tony is out somewhere," I simply respond.

Raya laughs as she brushes a stray piece of hair from my face, I love her laugh; it's cute. "Hey Ray can I ask you something?" I question, realising that I've never really thought about this. "Of course," Raya smiles.

"Why did you move here, out of all the places that you could of moved to, why Toronto?" I question. Raya takes a moment to answer, I hope it wasn't too personal. "I wanted to get away, being in Portland just made me remember things that I wish I could forget."

I laced her fingers into mine, I understand her completely. I can't wait to get out of Toronto, but it'll be a couple years because I still have to graduate high school. I go into eleventh grade this year.

"Raya can I ask you one more question?" I whisper. "Yeah," Raya responds. I can tell that she has no idea what I'm about to ask, I think it bothers her that I'm hard to read. "When I leave after I graduate, will you come with me?" I ask, I don't know how she's going to respond.

Without hesitation Raya replies, "I will always be with you, no matter where you go." Without realising it, I let out a sigh of relief. Raya hugs me tighter, I snuggle into her warm body.

After sitting in a comfortable silence for a few moments Christa walks into the room. I am wondering who she invited, I for some reason I don't know many of her friends.

"So who did you invite to come with us?" I question. Christa blushes lightly, did she invite her crush or something? "Jayla please don't kill him, but I invited my boyfriend," Christa blurts. Raya instantly starts laughing, I want to laugh but I'm going to try and be serious. I shoot Raya a look so that she quits her laughing, and then I turned my attention back to my little sister.

"Chris you are eleven, you know Britt and I didn't date until we were teenagers," I paused so that I could watch Christas reaction. "And you didn't tell me about any boy," I try to hold back my laughter, as Christas face goes pure white.

I can't hold it back any longer, I bust out into hysterical laughter. Raya and Christa are looking at me, I guess they're confused. "Yes he can come with us, don't look so scared Chris. Now what's his name?"

Christas features relax as she smiles, "Nasser." I've never heard that name before, I like it. I look up into Raya's pale green eyes, she seems happy too.

"What's he like?" Raya asks her. Christas smile grows even wider, I can already tell that I'm going to like him. "He's really sweet and understands me, he is calmer than most boys my age. Nasser and I have been together for a few months now, I really like him," Christa tells us.
