As I come up
To the surface
All I see is different
A life that isn't mine
So I let myself fall
To the bottom once more
But now your arms surround me
Pulling me to the top
No matter how much I fight
I let my eyes meet yours
Knowing the hurt I placed within them
But you just smile with tears in your eyes
And let me know your thoughts
"Take my hand
And never let go
We can be together
A future for us both
Just let me pull you
Out of the darkness
