Lada had only been back in school for a week and she was already counting down the days until Christmas break. It seemed like the only thing that kept her going on anymore, was going home to see her brother.

They had put her into a ballet class now, apparently it would help her with Martial Arts. "You, Banner!" Her teacher said, walking over towards her. She jumped slightly, "Yes ma'am?" She asked quietly.

"Your posture needs to be straight, it needs to be like you're being pulled up by a string." She replied, in a loud voice. Lada straightened her posture, "like this?" She asked. "Better, we'll work on it." She sighed, before turning away.

Class was dismissed an hour later. Ladas feet were practically dead. "How does Nik do that?" She mumbled to herself as she walked down the hallways. Her next class was the shooting range, for two hours.

Her aim sucked, so her instructor was probably going to yell at her the whole time. She sighed as she grabbed her gun and headgear from the locker. 'This'll be fun.' She thought, as she made her way onto the range. "Banner, maybe your aim will be better, ya?" Her instructor asked.

"Yes sir." She said, going to her spot. She put her headgear on and loaded her handgun. The targets popped up and the bell rang, signaling for her to start. She shot at  the target, and the bullet went whizzing past. "Shit." She said, shooting again.

"Enough." The instructor said, ripping off her headgear. "You're a disgrace towards your mothers name!" He shouted, slapping her across the face. She looked back up at him, her lower lip quivering. "You vill never ve the next Black Widow." He said, glaring at her. "I'm trying." She said. "Get out of my range!" he shouted. She did as instructed, wiping tears off her face.

Nickoli wasn't doing much better either. His teachers had accused him of cheating on the summer homework. "This isn't your work mr Banner." His teachers had said. He insisted it was, which only got him into more trouble.

"Your math and science grades were below failing last year, these are passing." His teacher had almost yelled. "My sister tutored me, that's why they're passing." Nickoli argued in defense. "I'm sorry, but you're going to be starting the year off failing." His teacher had sighed.

Nickoli spent the rest of the day trying to study his science and math books. He wondered how his sisters first week was going. He could feel a bit of sadness from her, but the distance made it impossible to know for sure.

He sighed in frustration and slammed his book shut an hour later. The numbers and words made no sense, he wished so desperately that he could just do dance and languages instead of everything else.

His sister, who had never taken math or science before, made it look so easy. Maybe their madame had been right, maybe they took after the wrong parent. Lada already proved to have hulk running through her veins. Maybe that meant Nickoli was supposed to be the next Black Widow.

He ran down the hallways, heading straight for the phones. He'd never dialed the number faster. It rang twice and then, "Hello?" She answered. "Madame, I think me and Lada are different." He said, almost out of breath.

"Of course you're different Nick, you're not the same person." She said, not understanding. "No, Lada is just like dad, I'm just like mum." he sighed, agitated. There was a long pause. "I'll be there in the morning, I've made a grave mistake." She finally said. Then there was the dial tone. Nickoli almost jumped in joy.

The next morning, as promised, madame showed up at the school. "Morning, I've made a mistake, Nickoli needs to be taken out." She said, walking into the office. "For how long?" The headmaster asked. "Permanently." She had replied.

They had left the school at noon, heading straight for Ladas school. "Romanoff." Someone said when they walked in. "I'm here for Lada." She replied, looking at them. They were lead down a lot of complicated hallways.

Finally they reached a door, inside Lada, and a bunch of others, were doing ballet. "Nickoli? Madame?" She asked, looking up. "Come Lada." Madame said, leading the way towards where I thought was the office.

"Nickoli will be taking over for his sister." Rosealina said, looking at them. They spoke in latin for a long time. Only Lada understood. "I've missed you." Nickoli said, hugging his sister. "I missed you too." She smiled, leaning her head onto his shoulder.

"Nickoli will be going here, you Lada will go to an all girls privet school." Rosealina said an hour later. Lada hugged her brother goodbye. "You'll love actual school." He said, smiling at her. "And you'll love this place." She replied, returning the smile. They were both right.
