We use this word more than hundred times in a day. it is very common and basic informal thai word .it makes the sentence more gentle and polite. Its less polite than Khrap and Kha that's why it's used informally
It's meaning is hard to pin down

For warning

Its sound aggressive but using na with it will change it
For example

oh-gaat sut taai laew naThe sentence becomes a lot softer and suggesting the speaker has feeling of care towards listener
For request

Seu hai no.....na......na..... na🌠Please wait a moment
Raaw sak khruu na khá na makes the request sound more polite, and here its similar to add "Please" to a sentence
For questions
It used in question form and here it means is againWhen you use na at the end of a question. Its mean someone needs the answer to be repeated.

For Soften the sound of command

Na softens the sound of the command, making it more informal and less like an order. In this sense, it's similar to ending a sentence with "...., ok ?" in English.To make sorry more persuasive

For Confirmation
na has another use as a confirmation particle when asking for agreement with a statement just made.
