Long Lost Family

Sonic looked out the window when Anna suddenly froze. That was when he saw the robot the looked like Omega but was blue. He instantly moved Anna behind him and was about to attack when something purple smashed threw the window, setting out their hands before attacking the robot. Anna screamed behind Sonic who was watching everything with the speed of his eyesight. He saw what looked like a purple hedgehog open the robot's circuts then pull them loose, causing the robot to shut down.

Sonic stood there, wide-eyed, at the Hedgehog, wondering how she was able to do it. She looked over at him, examining him with her emerald green eyes, the exact shade of Anna's. He noticed she had blue highlights in her quills and her bangs partially covering her right eye. They also had blue highlights at then ends. She wore a strapless, red tank top, blue jeans dirtied at the ends, and red running shoes with a purple lightning stripe on them. She resumed into a causious stance until she saw Anna hiding behind Sonic. Tears seemed to form in her eyes.

"Anna...?" she asked. Anna looked out from behind Sonic and when she saw the hedgehog, memories she had long forgotten, from the experiments, returned. Playing in the yard with a purple hedgehog with blue highlights in her quills while Mom and Dad watched from the window. Mom was a purple hedgehog as well, with blue eyes and Dad was a mix between teal and cyan blue with emerald green eyes, just like the two young hedgehogs.

More memories hit Anna and she remembered, one night, being in the car with her Mom, Dad, and the other hedgehog when lasor fire hit the engine. Before it could explode, the young hedgehog s were told to jump and run. She couldn't remember anything afterwards until the first Doctor she ran into.

Anna got up from the couch and started to walked towards the hedgehog, only to be stopped by Sonic before she could get too close. "Wait," he said.

"I-I know her..."

"Anna?" asked the hedgehog again. "Remember me?"

"I have memories that don't make sense."

"Car crash?"

"Yes."

"It is you...." She walked closer until she was blocked by Sonic.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"My name is Soni Hedgehog." At the sound of her name, Anna burst into tears. Sonic looked at her, confused. He didn't know how to comfort her.

"Sonic," Anna finally said through tears. "This is...my twin sister, Soni."

"Your twin?!" He looked over at Soni and could see a resemblance of the two. Although Soni's nose was longer, they had the exact face.

"It's been so long...." said Soni going over to her sister.

"10 years....."

"I thought you were dead until 3 years ago."

"I had lost my memory over the years...I'll explain later and could only remember a car crash and about a couple months after it. How did you find me?"

"Another long story. I joined a camp with a hedgehog, kitsune, and echidna where I trained to fight for 8 years. Then I found a little fox who actually saw the car incident. She thought she was going crazy then but looked for us since then. Apparently we went in opposite directions. She saw you 2 years ago with a Dr. Thunder Mouth....? She noticed you were heading in the direction of Station Square, though she didn't know for sure. She came to find me and told me everything. It took me two years to get out of the desert and over here. When I saw the robots, I instantly attacked as part of my job."

"So you fight robots for a living?" asked Sonic seeming amused and surprised at once.

"Not for money. But at least to help others and protect the camp. What happened in your ten years, Anna?"

"Um....getting kidnapped multiple times and tested on." She showed Soni one of her scars and Soni gasped at the sight.

"What happened!?"

"I don't know but the Dr.'s liked to test on me. I don't know if any of their experiments actually worked but I never remember if they do. I do believe that the experiments caused memory loss which would explain why I don't remember much of our past."

"I lost it over time but I would get memories if I saw something resembling you. But I've missed you so much!"

"If I remembered you in the past, I'm sure I would have too."

"So...who's this?" she said looking at Sonic.

"Oh! This is Sonic. He's helped me get away from those robots outside. The villain in this regein is a Dr. Eggman who really seems to want to get me."

"And he won't as long as I'm around," said Sonic. He looked at the peace sign neclace Soni was wearing and noticed it was a locket. "Nice locket."

"Oh. Thanks. I don't remember when I got it, but it has us in it Anna." She opened it up to reveal a family of 4 with two little hedgehogs being held by the parents.

"Memories I may never recover...." said Anna sadly.

"I'm sure they'll come. I can help you!" Sonic looked at the two sisters, feeling happyness that Anna found someone she knew before. But he worried that she'd want to leave.

"Anna....?"

"Yeah Sonic?"

"Are you still staying or is Soni going to take you somewhere?"

"Considering this Eggman, is it..? Is still around I'd be willing to help keep Anna safe," said Soni.

"Sonic, I honestly don't want to leave. You and Tails have been great to me!" said Anna.

"Tails..." asked Soni.

"He's a buddy of Sonic who lives here," said Anna. "And I think that's him." She looked over towards the door to see Tails come in.

"Sonic, Anna I'm ho-" He stopped mid-sentence when he saw Soni. "Uh......who's that?"

"Long story," said Sonic. "A VERY long story."
