Calvin came over to where we were sitting. He sat next to me.

I said, "Oh, Alyssa, this is Calvin."

        Calvin says, "I'm her boyfriend."

Katelynn says, "And she's his girlfriend."

Calvin said, "And i'm also the father of her son, Luke. Well, he's our son."

Katelynn said, "And she's the mother of his son. They're his parents."

I said, "Okay, I think she gets it."

Alyssa asks, "You two had a kid together in high school?"

Calvin and I said, "Its a long story."

"He just turned 3 yesterday," I said.

Katelynn kept looking at Alyssa and Calvin. She kept a very close eye at Alyssa for whatever reason.

Katelynn asks her, "So, why'd you move, Alyssa?"

She answered, "I got exp-... I had to explore the world..."

        Calvin asks, "You had to?"

"Yeah, my mom and I are exploring the world together. There is a scavenger hunt, in New York about this..."

        "Wow, that amazing," I said.

The bell rung. Alyssa headed straight to her 2nd period.

Cory and Bob said to Calvin, "Yo! That new chick though! She's hawt! Don't you think, Calv?"

Calvin said, "The old Calvin's dead and my girlfriend is right here."

Bob said, "Oh yeah. Hey, Serena, we're gonna take Calvin, alright?"

"Go ahead, you don't need to ask me," I said.

        They left.

Katelynn said, "Oh my gosh, Serena! Didn't you see the way Alyssa looked at Calvin??"

        I said, "I did actually... a little."

"What are you gonna do about it?" She asks.

        "Nothing," I replied.

"Nothing?! He's your boyfriend! He's the father of your son! You have to do something!"

"Calvin isn't an object. He doesn't belong to me."

"He does belong to you, Serena! Didn't you hear, she said exp-! She was gonna say expelled! She got expelled for a reason!"

"And what's the reason?" I ask.

        "How could I know?"

        "Exactly!"
