To say that Haechan’s relationship was healthy was a pretty decent observation. The thing is, he wasn’t in love with his boyfriend anymore. Jeno was everything to him, but he just isn’t… Haechan’s.

In highschool, they had been the gay dream - a beautiful, picture-perfect couple, and they loved it. But now they weren’t in highschool anymore- and Haechan wanted more. There were so many possibilites, and that was including the people he could meet. Could date, could love.

His mind strayed to his childhood friend Renjun, to a regular at the cafe, Seungmin. Hell, his mind thought of the cute customer, Mark. He was pretty cute, thought Haechan. As he entered his apartment, he thought he heard something. He headed upstairs, and he stopped dead in the middle of the hallway.

“Oh shit, Jeno, please!”

“Jaemin-”

The sounds were coming from Jeno’s bedroom. Jaemin? Haechan thought, and he recalled a close friend of Jeno’s. His face went red when he thought of Jeno cheating on him, because he wouldn’t do that to him. That just wasn’t something that Jeno would do, right?

“Jeno, I’m close!”

“Shhh, Jaemin, the neighbors.”

“Screw the neighbors- oh fuck!”

Haechan burst into the room to see Jeno on the bed with someone underneath him. He gasped, as Jaemin’s sweat covered face turned to him in shock. They scrambled to cover themselves as Jeno’s eyes widened. Haechan shook with rage, nearly wanting to explode.

Jeno starting rambling excuses as Haechan tried to contain his anger, not listening, his mind swirling. Would Jeno really do this? And why? Am I not good enough?

“Haechan I didn’t know you would be home so soon, I thought you were working late-”

“So that gives you a reason to fuck someone else while I was gone? It’s three in the fucking morning, Jeno! I think that qualifies as late!”

“Hae-Haechan I’m sorry-”

“Jeno, we’ve been dating for six years, how could you do this?”

“Jaemin was-”

“I’m leaving.”
