Mark nodded, and followed him outside.

As the two walked to Marks car, Donghyuck realized he didn't even know his full name.

"You know, I never caught your whole name."

"Oh, right. Mark Lee."

"You mean Lee Mark?"

"No, I'm kinda foreign so I just use Mark Lee. You?"

"Donghyuck Lee, Lee Donghyuck. Whatever is fine really."

Mark smiled to himself as he realized they had the same family name. It was like they were meant to be-

"So where do you live?"

The older was lifted out of his thoughts and he climbed into the drivers seat of his car, fumbling with his keys.

"Oh, um, I'm on the east side."

"You mean the rich side?"

"Well, uh. You could call it that. It's very boring."

"Oh."

He started the car and began on his way home, leaving the cafe parking lot. Donghyuck's belongings rattled in the trunk of the car, and the younger sighed in relief, thinking he had forgotten them. There was a long silence that settled over the two, but it was comfortable, not awkward.

"So, you might not want to talk about it, but... who were those people in the cafe? The couple."

"I'd rather not talk about them. Do you want to listen to music?"

Mark frowned at the sudden topic change but let it go.

"Sure."

"Do you like Stray Kids?"

"Never heard of them."

A loud, overdramatic gasp erupted from Donghyuck, immediately plugging in his phone to the aux cord and shuffling play. 'Get Cool' resounded through the speakers and the younger quickly starting dancing.

Mark laughed, it was the first time he had seen Donghyuck happy in the short time he had known him, and it already made him smile. He mentally added Stray Kids to his list of bands to stan.

-

"Okay, well here we are. Home sweet home."

"Wahhhh. You call this boring?"

"Just because it's big doesn't mean it's not boring."

Mark unlocked the door quickly, and went back to help Donghyuck lug in his bags. He grinned when he saw the younger struggling with the heaviest one, easily lifting it up for him. Donghyuck blushed slightly and carried the rest of his luggage inside.

That's cute, I bet I could pick him up easily and then I could-

He snapped out of it as he heard Donghyuck exclaim loudly over the interior of his house, and Mark turned pink when he realized he had just imagined him and Donghyuck.

You've known him for an entirety of less than 24 hours, don't get a crush already.

But Mark couldn't help but melt a little as he saw Donghyuck's sunshine smile, his honey-like skin standing out against the whiteness of his walls.

"Mark?"

"Oh, uh, yeah Donghyuck?"

"Where should I put my stuff?"

"I guess I should give you a house tour."

Mark kept his eyes on the younger as he led him through the house, showing him the spare bedroom he would be staying in, his own room across the hall, and the large bathroom. The spacious kitchen and living room were comfortable and Donghyuck could tell he was going to like living here. Mark almost had a heart attack when he tripped in the hallway, automatically grabbing onto him for support.

"Be careful!"

"Ah, sorry hyung!"

Mark's cheeks turned pink at the name, but he brushed it off.

"Just call me Mark."

"Oh, okay. Mark."

"Do you like it here? I haven't redecorated in a while but-"

"It's perfect."

Mark swore he could feel the butterflies in his stomach flying around. His attraction was already forming into a crush on the younger and he smiled as Donghyuck became comfortable on the couch. Shit.

I like him.
