We drove in silence mostly, the only sound being the tires against the road, breathing and the occasional shift of leather as one of us moved. My headache was still prevalent in my head and I was almost certain I had a concussion. My leg was also hurting and I knew it needed new bandages.

So all in all...life was great.

I was sprawled out along the backseats as Mikaela sat on the center console and Sam in the passenger seat. After a while of driving, Sam broke the silence. "Hey why don't you sit over there in the seat?" He whispered to the black-haired female.

"Are you kidding? I'm not going to sit there, he's driving!" She whisper shouted. I was confused as to why they were whispering, the robotic car thing would clearly be able to hear us, if anything because we were literally inside it.

"Well then why don't you sit in my lap?" Sam suggested and I raised a brow, flicking my gaze to the pair. Mikaela raised a brow at him which prompted him to continue. "You know, I've got the only seatbelt. Safety first."

Mikaela relented with a sigh before shuffling into his lap as they buckled the seat belt around them. It was then that the seatbelts back here shot around me and I chuckled a little, patting the seat. It was nice that an alien creature cared about my safety.

"You know what I don't get?" Mikaela mentioned, gaining our attention. "Why is it, if he's this super advanced robot that he turns back into this piece of crap Camaro?" She whispered but clearly not quietly enough for said "piece of crap Camaro" not to hear.

We were suddenly skidding to a halt and the passenger side door popped open. We all climbed out which made my headache intensify from the sudden movement. I leaned against Sam who wrapped an arm around my waist to keep me up as he turned his attention to Mikaela.

"See what you did? He's sensitive, $4,000 just drove off." He grumbled and I sighed, eyes starting to droop closed. A small pat on my cheek made me open them to meet the concerned face of my adoptive brother. I waved him off and we all paused as a modern model of a Camaro pulled up and the doors opened.

We came to a slow stop, which momentarily confused me as I didn't want to move. Sam and Mikaela sat forward in their seats in awe which was all I needed to push myself up and glance out the window as meteor like things shot down from the sky. We climbed out to get a better look but I swayed a little in dizziness, almost falling, but a certain yellow and black hood came up behind me. I sat down and rubbed small circles into the metal in thanks.

I watched as Sam and Mikaela snuck over into a field and I faintly wondered what was going on. I placed my head in my hands, trying to ease the ache. I heard static from the radio before a voice, "You alright there - little lady?" I turned and glanced at the windshield, shaking my head a little.

"I think I have a concussion from when Sam forced me off Mik's bike." I sighed and rubbed at my temples. I heard a small whir and click but didn't know what it could mean so I simply ignored it.

Soon enough, Sam and Mikaela returned and we got back in the car as it took us to this alleyway that was blocked off. When we rolled to stop, we all got out again and looked around. "Why are we here?" I asked, gazing around and spotting nothing of importance. Just then we saw a blue semi truck with flame decals entering from the other side heading for us along with a few engines and a siren from behind us. I turned and noticed a Pontiac, GMC Truck and a Search and Rescue Hummer entering from behind us. I turned my attention in front of me and slightly recoiled as I was met with the semi's bright headlights.
