My senses slowly onlined, heightened in my newly awoken state. My arms and faceplate were pressed against something metallic and I could hear a faint whirring. I slowly opened my optics and found that I was surrounded by a wall of blue and red. I smiled when I realized I was in Optimus' arms. Shifting so that my servos were placed along his chassis, I peered up at his faceplate for a moment. He was on his side, still recharging.

I vented contentedly and methodically traced certain details of his chassis and upper arms. I felt my tail thumping occasionally and happily along the berth. I heard buzzing as Optimus' senses onlined before a long puff of air wafted along my faceplates. Glancing up, I immediately noticed the glowing aquamarine optics of my sparkmate. They were half-lidded but focused on me as his grip tightened slightly. "Morning." I chirped, leaning up to peck his cheek plate.

"Good morning sweetspark." He muttered, voice husky and slightly strained with exhaustion. He ex-vented again and relaxed, moving to cradle me closer.

A loud knock sounded on our door, "Prime! We've got an issue!" A voice shouted suddenly, it sounded like Ironhide. I growled lowly and slowly wiggled my way out of my sparkmate's arms as he slowly but swiftly got up.

We exited our room and made our way down to the control room where soldiers were gathered around monitors. "The fragment of the allspark was stolen last night." One of the soldiers reported. My optics widened and I shared a look with Optimus.

"This is probably just a prelude for what's to come. We're gonna have the higher ups on our ass." I groaned and Optimus nodded.

"Maybe Samuel can help. He can remind everyone of why we are here." Optimus rumbled and I shrugged. "Sweetspark, with me." He ordered before transforming. I transformed down to my human form and climbed into his cab via passenger side.

Then we were off. We loaded up onto a carrier plane to head back to the states, one 19 hour flight. Optimus was going to comm Bee once we were close to landing so that we could meet up.

I sighed and nestled into the passenger seat, feeling as the plane shifted before taking off. Optimus was unusually quiet, something that concerned me slightly. "What's wrong Oppy?" I called out to him, resting my head against my fist along the door. His holoform suddenly materialized and turned to look at me.

"You've been with us for almost two months and we have yet to give you our insignia." He hummed and I exhaled a little in relief.

"I thought maybe something was wrong, you scared me. But, when we get back we can get me marked." I smiled.

Optimus nodded with a small smile, ruffling my hair slightly. "I will admit, I am also concerned about what stealing the fragment entails. There's only one thing I can think of that the decepticons would need the AllSpark for." He frowned and my eyes widened.

"They're going to revive Megatron..." I breathed and Optimus nodded. "That's the last thing we need." I sighed. Optimus sighed and grabbed my hand, brushing his thumb over the back of my hand.

"We will get through this." He replied firmly and I smiled a little, nodding.

We arrived at a graveyard and I hopped out. It was around 5:30 in the morning and I was beyond exhausted. Sleeping on a plane wasn't really an option for me I guess.

Optimus transformed and so did I as we waited for Bee, them having been commed three and a half-four hours ago. I slowly slid onto my tanks, resting my head on my paws. I wasn't allowed much time to rest as I heard an engine rumble and glanced over to see Bee rolling in.
