Chapter Twenty Five

JIN HEE POV

The mall was packed with people and they were mostly students from our school since only our school was nearby this mall. V and I headed to a restaurant since we were craving for some steak!

"So, explain to me now!" V demanded.

"Oh, right. Well, JungKook and I are dating for 100 days. Its all for the sake of a game and a way to get over Jin. JungKook also said its some how a way to get Krystal back." I said .

"Sounds stupid but don't you mind one bit?"

"Why would it?"

"Jin Hee, you like him." V said looking at me in a Duh manner. "It's obvious."

My face turned scarlet. "W-What are you talking about? JungKook and I are friends."

"Yes but you're developing feelings for him." V said and I stared at him. "Its impossible for a guy and a girl to be best friends for a long time without having one party liking the other. Plus, you guys are always together and there must be something that sparked the feelings. And unfortunately, the party that falls in love is you.."

"I don't like him." I said but i some how had lumps in my throat. V looked at me and I loose it. "Please don't tell anyone! I can't ruin my friendship with JungKook and he clearly like Krystal."

"Jin Hee, I have been friends with JungKook since forever! He likes you but he doesn't know because all he thinks about is Krystal. You're the only person he talks about."

"So what?"

"God, let me tell you what happened!"

V POV (FlashBack)

I was sitting at the back of the cafeteria waiting for the guys. I was alone since I was the first to get out of my class. Jung Kook soon came into the cafeteria and sat next to me while greeting me.

"Where's Jeon Jin Hee?" I teased him and his ears turned red.

"Aye.. She went to the bathroom." He explained. He kept quiet for a while and so did I. It was as though he had something to say. And soon, he finally did. "Do you know she bites the left side of her tongue when she thinks."

"Who?"

"Jin Hee." He said as he stared off into a distance. I followed his gaze and realized he was looking at Jin Hee who was talking to DongWoon. "Her eyebrows furrow when she's thinking and she taps her pen on her books. When she sleeps, she likes to hug something and her favorite color is blue."

I chuckled a little and looked at him. He was smiling as he looked at Jin Hee laughing. "So what?"

"Nothing.. I was just saying."

"Hmm.. You don't observe Krystal this way." I said.

"What do you mean. Of course I do. I know her more than anyone does. More than Jin infact." He said defensively, his gaze still on Jin Hee.

"Oh yeah? What's Krystal's favorite color?"

"Pink." He said. "No wait, was purple? It's either."

"It's white." I said.

"So? Doesn't prove anything." JungKook said nonchalantly.

"It proves you like Jin Hee more than Krystal, you idiot." I said emphasizing idiot.

"That's insane. Krystal was the best I ever had and best I'll ever have. Jin Hee is nothing compared to her. But don't get me wrong. Jin Hee is wonderful and everything but- Let's just drop it." JungKook said looking a little ticked off.

His gaze went back to Jin Hee who is finally making her way back here. Suddenly his anger disappeared and he warmly welcomed Jin Hee. I can feel it in my guts he likes Jin Hee but is too stubborn to admit since he still hasn't loose hope in Krystal.

JIN HEE POV

"Doesn't prove anything." I said munching on the steak.

"Oh my- Just you see alright." V said. "Hey, isn't that a bird?" He said pointing out the window.

I looked out for a second then turned back to see him stealing broccoli. He giggled and stuffed it in his mouth. I smiled and laughed a little.

JUNGKOOK POV

"What do you want to do today?" I asked Krystal.

"Let's go shopping! But are you sure Jin Hee doesn't mind?" Krystal asked.

I ignored her question and brought her to the mall. We talked about the times we were dating and laughed a lot on silly things we did. Krystal walked into a boutique and I realised that V and Jin Hee were there. They were secretly taking a selca in the mirror. V secured his arms around Jin Hee and rest his head on Jin Hee's shoulders while Jin Hee's left arm hung around V's shoulder and kissed V on the cheek.

Why are the even doing that pose. Aren't those for coup- HOLY SHIT IS JIN HEE AND V SECRETLY DATING? HOW DARE SHE CHEAT ON ME. Well, technically, we aren't really dating but HOW DARE SHE!

V and Jin Hee giggled looking at the pic. I was still standing at the entrance looking at them halfway across the boutique on my right. Krystal was browsing through the tops. V and Jin Hee were giggling as they started walking to head out but Jin Hee suddenly realised i was staring at them.

"Oh! JungKook! Hi!" Jin Hee said all hyper-ly.

"Didn't expect to see you here!" V said. God i can punch him in the face for taking a selca like that with Jin Hee.

"Oh, yeah. Krystal wanted to co- are you two secretly dating?" The words slipped out like butter and i mentally slapped myself.

The two looked at each other and burst out laughing. Why are they laughing? Did I say something funny?

"Took you long enough to find out!" V said.

"W-What?" I said almost screaming and Krystal's head shot up in my direction. She looked confused but smiled at us. "We'll be right back!" I said dragging them out of the boutique.

"Look, our fake relationship is over alright. You need to confess to Krystal you still love her. Look at how long it's been! She's still going out with you isn't she?" Jin Hee said.

"Forget Krystal. How long have you guys been dating?" I asked.

"Quite a while actually." V said.

"But I was dating Jin H-"

"I was a little quicker." V interjected me.

"Wait what?"

"Idiot, I wonder how you managed to get top 3 in school! after Jin and Jin Hee broke up, Jin Hee confides in me a lot and we spend a lot of time together. And it just happens hence we're dating. Anyway, the other day, Jin Hee told me you needed a favor and I agreed to the favor of you faking a relationship with her. It was for Krystal wasn't it? And plus you guys are only friends." V explained.

What he said didn't make sense. The time frame is quite impossible. But it does not matter. "So you're dating Jin Hee?" I asked again as I gulped.

"Yeah, but please don't tell anyone. And go get Krystal!" Jin Hee said and gave me the fighting sign.

My heart broke into millions or even billions of pieces. My best friend dating Jin Hee? But why am I getting jealous? Why am I even getting jealous. I don't care. Krystal is all I need.
