Chapter Twenty Six

JIN HEE POV (FLASHBACK)

"Wait can you explain it slowly?" I asked V.

"You like JungKook don't you? And you want him don't you?" V asked and I nodded shyly. "I have a plan."

"This better be good." i rolled me eyes.

"Of course it is!" V said in a duh tone. Anyway, you have to break up with Jung-"

"But we aren't dating." I interrupted.

"Well, everyone thinks you are so just do as I say!" V snapped. "And you have to cheer JungKook on to win Krystal."

"Isn't this supposed to make me win JungKook?" I asked a little confused.

"Just trust me alright. JungKook likes you and in order for you to get him, he needs to realise it himself." V said. "You'll see. Just do as I say. Oh here he comes! Quick do as I say!"

JIN HEE POV ( PRESNT)

"Did it work? Do you think she'll accept him? Wait V, what if she does? I-"

"If she accepts, you'll see they won't last long. JungKook will break up with her. But it will take time for him to realise how much you mean to him." V said.

"Alright. Hey, thanks for helping me. You're the best." I said and hugged him.

"No problem kiddo." V said and ruffled my hair then we headed to Timberland to check out some shoes.

JUNGKOOK POV

I picked up my courage as we stared into the distance. "Krystal.."

"Yeah?"

"You came back to find the person you really love didn't you?" I asked. And she nodded. "Did you already find him?" I asked.

"I did.." She said as she looked at me. This gave me high hopes.

"Will you be my girlfriend again? I really love you and I'll always love you. I could barely breathe without you here and it was really hard. You said you came back to find the one you really love. It's me. Who else was there? All we had.. Krystal, I missed you so much." I said but there wasn't much feeling or sincerity. Jin Hee was still running in my mind.

Krystal's eyes were wet and a tear dropped. "JungKookie.." She said hushly. "I think you got the wrong idea."

"What?" I stuttered.

"JungKook.. I was talking about Yong Jaebum."  Krystal said. "JungKook I'm so sorry. I realised I loved you as a little brother I-"

"Just go." I said and stood up to leave. I drove back to the apartment. My heart ache so much I felt like dying. Nothing was going right today. There's a pain in my heart and I could barely control the pain. Rejection hurts.

I slammed the door shut the moment I got home. Jin Hee still wasn't home. The thought of her dating V made my heart ache even more. I went up to my bed and laid down. I was too numb to feel anything. I just laid there and hope the numbness goes away.

JIN HEE POV

I glanced at the clock and it was 9PM. I cringed a little at how poor my punctuality is. "JungKook! I'm home!" I shouted as I climbed the stairs. I toss my bag to my bed and head to JungKook's room.

He was asleep and he was still in his school uniform. I chuckled a little and some how, he woke up. "Oh, you're back."

"How was your date?" I asked and sat next to him.

"Horrible. She told me that I wasn't the one she came back for and she is talking about Jaebum, your brother!" He growled and threw a pillow on the floor. "I feel so numb right now and i can barely breathe."

JungKook placed a hand on his heart and sighed. His face was pale and his hair was a mess. Then he continued saying, "And are you really dating V?"

"Yeah.. I am." I said.

He was frozen and his breathing became inaudible for a while. "You can't date him!"

"Why not?"

"Be-Because you just can't! We're best friends and he's a best friend too. You can't fall in love with your best friend!" he said completely outrage.

"I don't follow those laws and I already fell in love with one of my best friends.." I said sadly referring to him. "And he doesn't know...." I whispered to myself.

"And he doesn't what?" JungKook askedz

"Oh, nothing. Good night!" I dashed out of his room then laid on my bed. I hope V's plan really works.

I laid on my bed and thought about today. It hurts me to see JungKook in that condition but I'm selfish and thats how humans are.
