Forina quickly changed into something more fitting while Andrei lurked in the shadows. She wore a black ball gown with crystals and an embellished bodice that looked roses and vines while it flowed down to the floor. She paired it with her Prada black heels.

"Is it time?" she asked Alec who replied with a smirk and nod. He was almost as excited as her as he too wanted revenge on Casimir for his best friend.

"Let's get this party started." She smirked.

They walked back into the ballroom where everyone was enjoying themselves, feeding, dancing and drinking.

"Hey, you...Where were you? You were gone for so long." Nathan asked as he came up to his wife while he wrapped his arm around her waist.

She stiffened, then turned around and smiled like nothing was wrong but his hand felt like burning coal on her skin as he caressed her and showed his affection.

"Just around with Alec, We had uninvited guest, but don't worry your pretty little head about it, we took care of it." She told him which wasn't technically a lie...

"You changed..." he noticed as he examined her.

"Yeah, someone spilt some blood on me." She told him while she looked away to look for Alec.

"What's wrong?" he asked, this time he took her face and pulled it to him. Worry craved into his face.

"Nothing..." she smiled and went to place a peck on his lips but he quickly took control and deepened it to a passionate embrace.

While Andrei lurked around, he couldn't help but feel the agonising pain in his chest seeing the two. He knew that it wasn't Forina's fault but that didn't mean that it didn't hurt.

He wanted her. He wanted to hold her and kiss, to make love to her, and he knew the sooner he got rid of Nathan, the sooner all his dreams would come true.

He remembered the first time he laid eyes on her, to him she was and still is the most beautiful woman of earth and now he had to get her back.

Alec walked around and then gave a nod to Forina as a group of Forina's vampires entered, they gave the signal that was everything was ready.

"Good evening everyone. It brings me great joy that you have joined us for this celebration of me taking over as coven master." Forina said Casimir's head snapped to her direction with a glare.

"What is the meaning of this?" he growled.

"Oh, this is a coup." Forina smiled at her vampire father and the other coven masters. The vampires around them started to applaud and cheer as they were happy for Forina to take over.

"From now on, We won't ever have to worry about going hungry or being found. For now, we own 30 blood banks around the world. We will never have to feed on ill humans again." Forina announced only to be answered with louder cheers.

Feeding on humans wasn't all that grand unless they were healthy and well, most weren't.

"Not only that but the Daughters Freya, Tamara and Elisabeth will also be taking over the other covens." She smiled and gave a quick glance to Alec who nodded.

The daughters had been compelled by him and were under their control.

"Do you really think I'll let you take over?" Casimir growled.

"I don't think you understand what a coup means, let me put it simpler words... this is a hostile takeover, I'm not giving you a choice." Forina grinned and then let her power flow out of her palms like a waterfall of darkness.

Nathan took a step back and looked at his wife in both fear and confusion. "Forina?" he stuttered.

"Sorry, but this doesn't involve you, love," Forina told him, barely sparing him a glance.

"Don't worry I'll take good care of her." Andrei appeared from the shadows.

"Wait, Andrei! No!" Forina screamed but it was too late, an agonizing pain grew from her heart as she clutched her chest.

Andrei had killed Nathan and Forina could feel every ounce of pain. It felt like her heart was breaking like glass and stabbing her soul. It had been such an intense sensation that Forina didn't know how to process it.

"What have you done?" Alec growled at Andrei and immediately went to his best friend.

"Don't worry," Andrei told him and went to her side.

"What are you doing?" Alec asked as he saw Andrei moving Forina's hair aside and then sink his fangs into her flesh.

Forina replied with a moan, all pain disappeared with newfound pleasure. She felt whole again. She felt so much pleasure, she was such if she was human... she would have passed out.

"I marked her," Andrei told Alec as Forina gathered herself.

"This was your plan all along," Casimir growled and stepped forward towards Forina only or Alec and Andrei to act up but before they could do anything, laughter filled the air.

It was a sadistic laugh, full of madness.

"No, but it sure was a rush." Forina breathes out with a sigh.

"Now... I'm going to kill you," Forina said calmly with a joyous smile upon her face like a child on Christmas morning.

"You won't get away with this," Casimir growled and did what no one thought he would do. He ran, shocking everyone that witnessed it.

"I can't believe he ran... that coward." Forina murmured in surprise.

"Not surprising really. Always knew he was a coward." Andrei remarked with a growl.

This was certainly going to interesting.
