It's finally October! A good reason to ask Rachel out, since it Halloween month and also her birthday month. This year I'm gonna trick her into visiting Halloween Horror Night with me. She's always been afraid of horror stuff, it's a good chance for me to get closer to her. Also since she has always wanted to go but never dared to.

After I thought through my plan I decided to messages the boys so that they could help me with the plan. They would definitely help me out since we have always wanted her to join us when we go every year.

Woojin: what is it again...hoonie😒

Jihoon: I want to trick Rachel into visiting Halloween horror night with us this year!

Seong wu: how you gonna do that?

Jihoon: I'm just gonna buy the ticket for her without telling her, message her saying I want to bring her out to "celebrate" her birthday and that everything is paid for.😝
Great plan right?

Daniel: hmm sounds fine but how are you gonna get her there without her suspecting or asking tons of questions?
Jinyoung: hey ya Daniel hyung is right.🤔

Jihoon: I'll just meet her and we'll take a cab there. You guys can meet us there.

Kuan lin: Hmm why not...
Ask her to wear a blindfold and tell her it's a surprise!
Woojin: ya! Great idea linlin, Jihoon do it! Her face when she sees that she's at Halloween horror night would be priceless! PRICELESS I SAY👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Time skip

I followed their advice and go on with the plan. After buying the tickets and confirming the date that we are all free I messaged Rachel.

L-like to celebrate your birthday.

Rachel: sure! I'm free anyways
Where do you want to go?

Jihoon: it's a surprise! I'll meet you at your house at 6pm 👌🏻 we're taking a cab there.

Rachel: oh okayy suree but what do I wear though if I don't know where we're going?

Jihoon: Hmm just don't wear anything to warm it's outdoors.

Rachel: oh okay! Seeya tomorrow then☺️

Jihoon: see you💞

My heart was beating so fast while texting Jihoon. I've had a crush on him for awhile now and everytime he messages me or when we hang out my heart feels like it's gonna jump out. We have gotten closer over time but nothing really happens yet. Tomorrow he's taking me out god how am I gonna survive it. I can't wait!

Time skip

It's 6pm now and Jihoon is right outside my door. "Hi!" He said and smiled brightly when I opened the door. "Hii" I mirrored his smile. " here your birthday present" he said and smiled shyly facing the ground. "Thank you, I'll keep it inside okay? Open it when we get back tonight." "Okayy" after keeping the gift in my room it was time for us to head out.

Jihoon told me to put on a blindfold which made me even more excited and curious about where we were going. But I decided to not ask any questions and instead just talked to him about other topics.

When I reached the place I took off my blindfold with a questioning look on my face.
*why were we at universal?*
I looked over to Jihoon and he was smirking. It already gives me a bad feeling yet I'm so in love with him my heart beat increase. I just live his bad boy side. We walked closer to the entrance and there I saw the boys.
*what are they doing here*

"Hi guys!" "Hello Rachel!" They said in unison. "Why are y'all here??" I furrowed my brows. Jihoon suddenly stepped closer to me and whispered into my ear "they are here because their joining us for Halloween horror night" the moment he said that my eyes widen and my heart beat increased not because Jihoon was close to me but because I was scared. I looked at him in disbelief and Jihoon smirking at me. "I-I thought we were gonna celebrate my birthday why are we going there?" They knew that I was scared everyone in this group knew and yet they tricked me here. "We are celebrating your birthday! That's why we're here!" Woojin said excitedly. I already knew they can't wait to see me scream and run around in fear. Which was what they were expecting I would do. But I won't I'm too scared to even scream. "Don't worry, I'm here...I'll protect you" Jihoon suddenly said to me softly. Surprisingly it made me felt safe but I was still scared.

Either way we proceeded with it since the ticket has already been brought and it's quite expensive too. We entered the park with woojin and Kuan lin still teasing me about how I looked so scared when I found out and jisung telling me to ignore their childish behaviour and not to worry since Jihoon would always be with me. The moment we entered a clown literally scared the daylights out of me already I was so scared I just widen my eyes and stared at it I didn't even dared to move. Jihoon sensed how scared I was and immediately pulled me into a hug and tired calming me down. The boys were really shocked too since they have never seen me so scared also since they were expecting me to scream and run when I was scared.

The whole time we were there everytime I got scared jihoon would hug me and tell me it's okay and that his there I really grabbed his shirt really tight till it left lots of folded lines on his shirt. But he really did "protect" me. Besides that since the rest of the boys besides Daniel weren't really afraid they actually made the experience kind of fun. They made me laugh several times even though I was scared and made me took pictures with them too.

At the end of the day I was in the taxi with jihoon on the way home and I decided to post our pictures on Instagram since I'll probably never do it again and captioned the post "these people brought me here to scare the daylights out of me". I lifted my head to see jihoon staring at me eyes full of concern. "You're okay right?" He asked softly. "I'm okay but if I can't sleep tonight it's your fault You'll be hearing my phone call" "I'm sorry..." he said looking down. "Hey it's okay, I kinda enjoyed it though I almost had a heart attack every 5mins" I said and he giggled slightly.

"I just I have to thank you since I'll probably never go there if it weren't for you tricking me." After I said that jihoon used his hand to place my head on his shoulder "you'll always have me to protect you princess" he whispered softly and I fell asleep on his shoulder. When we were almost reaching my house he lightly woke me up and insisted on sending me to my door step after he told the cab driver to wait a moment.

"I really hope you enjoyed today and also your present when you see it." "Haha I do I'll call you if I'm too scared later~" I said and laughed at myself for being a scardy-cat. "I have 1 more present for you" and before I could react his lips were on mine. I was so shocked I couldn't even close my eyes. He released the kiss and we stared into each other's eyes before he kiss me again thus time I replied. When he moved away both of us were so flustered we just looked at anything but each other. "E-e-erm g-goodnight! And call me if you can't sleep" with that he left. And I went back into my house and all I could think about was that kiss. Which made me forget that I'm scared. I when to sleep that night knowing that we definitely treated each other more than just friends and that there could be something between us.
