Something has changed in the world we live in. Now when people are born, they are assign a soulmate. As if matched made in heaven we live to find our other half. There are no clues or anything in fact given to anyone on who or where their soulmate may be. All they have is an original, unique song in their head that only them and their soulmate knows the tune of.

I was now hiding under my bed praying for my life. How did I get in the this situation you may ask well...

Why do I have so many damn projects to rush seriously I feel like my school thinks that we are machines. I swear they think that students can work 24/7 without rest. *urgh* It's impossible to finish this by today. I'm going to have to stay up all night for this stupid projects. But it's scary staying up late at night alone in the house... You see my parents are both overseas at the moment and my younger brother is having a school camp so I have the whole house to myself for 3 days straight it's great because I get the freedom to do whatever I want at home but it gets scary at night since I'm afraid of the dark and my neighbourhood is rather quiet at night. But since I had projects to complete by the dateline I didn't have a choice but to stay up.

I decided that I will on my TV while completing my project since there would at least be some noise in the background. While trying not to get distracted by my favourite Kdrama playing on the TV and trying to focus on my project my poor drama was cut off by a breaking news.

*TV news announcement*
"We are sorry to interrupt this program with breaking news! Just in a man was spotted breaking into 2 houses in Gangnam District. This has happened within the pass hour and is believed by the police that this is the same man that was spotted breaking into several other houses over the last few days. As he managed to slip away from the authorities the police believe that he is on the move to other houses in the district. Though it was mentioned that the man did not steal or harm anyone along the way we advice to lock your doors and windows and stay safe."

I watched the TV in shock and fear. I live in Gangnam District AND I was home ALONE! I panicked a little but managed to calm myself down and immediately rushed all over my house to check that all the doors and windows were locked. But living in a big house and being scared for my life I missed out a window... I immediately decided that I was going to stop my work and pretend to go to sleep so that I could off all the lights in my house and hopefully if the person thinks that no one is home he would skip my house and I will be safe.

I was still lying on my bed wide awake. How could I sleep knowing that someone might break into my house! I just hope I wasn't so unlucky like that.

To my dismay I heard i rustling noise nearby my house and my heart immediately skipped a beat and I assumed the worse. After that it was slings for a few minutes. Then I heard a creaking noise and my mind immediately went through second guessing if I had locked all the doors and windows. That's when I realised I left one of the windows in the kitchen unlocked. My heart beat increased and I was almost shaking did someone just broke into my house?! While panicking in my mind I heard more sounds and immediately held my breath and tired listening to what and where exactly it was coming from.

I decided to gather all my courage and moved myself from under my blankets on my bed to under my bed. I thought if someone was really in my house and might murder me that I would at least try my best to hide and hopefully I would be able to hide long enough for the police to come.

20 minutes have passed and I was still hiding under my bed. I thought that by now the person in my house would assume that no one is home and leave or give up looking since my house was quite big and hard to search. But boy was I wrong and boy was this person determined. The person was not quiet though, unlike normal criminals who break into house where they are extremely quiet and sneaky while being fast to get what they want and leave before the police arrives he seem to be taking his time and he was making a noise that I couldn't yet figure out since he was still far away from my room.

I suddenly heard footsteps headed towards my room. I keep my breath muffled behind my hands and peek out terrified from under my bed. He's still here. He isn't in my room yet but he's getting extremely close. I hold back my scream as I hear footsteps hit the stairs. One step after the other. I close my eyes and cross my fingers as I hear a thump on the top step. "I want you I need you, 하루 종일 너로 채워지는 나야" He sang. I was prepared to come out and hit him with the golf club I found under my bed until I hear it. That melodic song I've known my entire life. And he's the source of it. I drop my golf club, suddenly feeling uneasy and felt someone grabbed me as he drags me out from my hiding spot. I screamed in fear and he rolls his eyes. With my eyes still shut I start singing it back to him in order to slow him down from my impending death. "I miss you think of you, 매일 너를 그리게 돼 또 되뇌이는 말" I sang slowly. He lets out a breath of relief and I slowly opened my eyes to look at him. "Thank god! You have no idea how many wrong houses I've broken into this week." He said while removing his mask. I just stared at him in shock and literally speechless. The guy who broke into my house in the middle of the night scared my half to death is my soulmate!?

"Hi nice to meet you, I'm Park Jihoon" he smiled and sticks out his hand expecting me to shake it.

Well that was 3 years ago. Now Jihoon and I were happily dating, though he did need to pay a fine for breaking into so many houses. He is an amazing person and I would not have anyone else be my soulmate. Might I add that he is also very handsome and cute not to mention talented as well. He is perfect.

When we first got together he told me the stories of when he broke into people's houses and the things he experienced while searching for me and all I got to say was this man was really determined on finding his soulmate and after all the troubles he has went through he finally found me.
