Jimmy stared at me in disbelief. He seemed unable to speak, so I spoke first. "Hi." Was all I could say. His lips slowly curled into a smile, and I felt relieved. So he didn't hate me. Good to fucking know.

"Hi." He said back, and I could've just melted into a pile of goo.

"Listen, I need to apologize for what I've done. I should never of left, but I swear to you I had a reason, and I thought that it was the right thing to do at the time, but it wasn't." I said quickly. He was about to say something, when a little hand tugged on the bottom of my shirt. I looked down and saw Chloe looking up at me.

"Mommy, can I get a soda out of the machine?" She asked, pointing to a soda machine across the room.

I smiled at her. "Sure, baby." I handed her a dollar. "Then go right back to the couch, ok?" She smiled and nodded happily, and then skipped off to get her soda. When I looked back up at Jimmy, his eyes were full of sadness. Shit.

"So... you've moved on obviously." He muttered, and I sighed.

"Jimmy, it's not what you think, believe me."

"Is it?" He asked, his voice filling with hurt.

"Look, why don't you ask her what her name is?" I suggested, and confusement came over his face.

"Why would I do that?"

"Just do it." I told him, and as Chloe was about to return to the couch, I caught her and brought her over to Jimmy. He looked at me questionly, and I just waited for him to do it. He got down on one knee in front of her so he was at her level, and grinned at her.

"Hey Princess." I smiled slightly at the nickname he used. "Can you tell me your name?" Chloe looked up at me to get the ok, she knew she wasn't supposed to talk to anybody she didn't know. I smiled at her reassuringly and nodded.

"Chloe Sullivan." She answered simply, and I think Jimmy nearly fell over. His eyes were wide with surprise, and he slowly moved his gaze up at me.

"Sh-she's..... I'm....?" He was practically at a loss for words. I nodded again, and he looked between the two of us. Chloe looked extremely confused, and she looked between Jimmy and I. "Is she..." Jimmy pointed to his chest, over his heart.

"One hundred percent healthy." I answered, grinning. A look of relief came over Jimmy's face. "Chloe," I started, and she looked up at me. "do you remember the fifth thing on the list of birthday presents you gave me?" I asked her, and she smiled and nodded.

"It's what I wanted most; Daddy." She answered. Jimmy's eyes lit up, and he looked back at Chloe.

"Well, happy birthday baby girl." I told her while smiling at her, and she seemed puzzeled for a moment. Then I saw her eyes slowly widen, and she turned back to Jimmy. She studied him for a moment, as if whether or not I was telling her the truth.

"Daddy?" She squeaked out. Jimmy smiled at her.

"Hi Chloe." He said softly, and Chloe smiled widely. She threw herself at him, and Jimmy hugged her tightly. He stood up after a moment, still holding onto our daughter tightly. He took one arm from around her and pulled me into the hug.

After a moment or two, I felt more people pressing up against us, forming a giant group hug. Kristina stood beside me, and she smiled at me. I grinned back at her, and wondered if they'd heard the entire conversation. I didn't think they did, because they were all the way across the room, but you never know.

When we all broke away, Matt looked at Chloe and smiled his dimple smile at her. "Who's this cute little girl?" He asked. Nope, they didn't over hear anything then. Jimmy grinned, and looked at Chloe.

"This," Jimmy started, taking his hand in mine and lacing our fingers. "is Chloe, our daughter." As soon as he said it, eyes widened, except for Kristina's, I had a feeling she'd already figured it out. She was smirking her famous Kristina smirk.

Jimmy set Chloe down and she greeted all of them, giggling and smiling like I'd never seen her giggle and smile before. While she was occupied with the others, I turned to Jimmy and words started flowing out of my mouth almost immediately.

"I'm sorry for what happened, but I heard you tell the guys you didn't want kids until much later, and then when I found out I was pregnant I panicked and I thought you would--" He cut me off.

"Megan, stop." He said, and I shut my mouth. "Just promise me that you'll stay." His voice was soft, and I stared into his eyes.

"Ok." I answered, and he moved a bit closer.

"Ok, what?" Jimmy pressed, still slowly moving closer.

"Ok, I promse I'll stay." My voice came out in a quiet tone as I watched him. He smiled and shivers ran down my spine as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Now would be a good time to demand that I kiss you, Megz." He whispered, making my heart pick up rapidly. I remembered the night we'd first kissed, how I had cut him off and told him to kiss me. I remembered it as if it happened yesterday, but yet it felt so far away at the same time.

I smirked a little. "Kiss me, James."

"Yes ma'am!" He exclaimed before pulling me even closer. I looped my arms around his neck as he leaned down, and time slowed to a crawl.

His still extremely soft lips met mine for the first time in four years, and I felt my heart do a happy jump while his grip around me tightened. My happiness was fully restored now that I was in Jimmy's arms again. I could of just died and gone to Heaven in this moment. I thought I'd never feel Jimmy hold me ever again, I thought I'd never feel his soft lips against mine ever again. When we pulled away, Jimmy kept his forehead pressed to mine.

"Oh, and by the way, I know it was you that I knocked over at the restaurant yesterday." He smirked, and I laughed lightly.

"Thanks for that, by the way. Now I have a bruise on my ass." I teased him, and he chuckled.

"You're welcome." Jimmy pressed his lips to mine once more, pecking them. Damn, I loved kissing him.

"I do have to go back to Minnesota and get the rest of our stuff, though." I told him, and he groaned disapprovingly. I giggled and said, "I'll come back, I promise."

Jimmy smirked again. "You better, or else I will personally drag you back here with me." He warned teasingly.

"Y'know, I think that wouldn't be too bad of a punishment." I said, and he laughed. I called Chloe over to me and told her that we had to go back to Minnesota for just a little bit to get our things. Chloe pouted, she didn't want to go.

"Can I stay here with Daddy? Pleeeeeeaaaaaassseeee?" She begged, and Jimmy picked her up.

"Pllllleeeeeaaaassseee?" Jimmy whined, helping her out. They both stuck out their bottom lip and gave me the puppy dog eyes.

I sighed in defeat and grinned. "Alright, Chloe, you can stay with him while I'm gone." They both cheered loudly, and I laughed and shook my head.  I kissed Chloe's cheek and said, "Be good for your father, alright?"

Chloe grinned at me. "Ok, Mommy." I looked at Jimmy.

"And you, stay out of trouble until I get back. Then you can go absolutely crazy." I teased him, making him laugh again.

"It won't be easy to do, but I'll do it for you." I smiled and felt my cheeks turn bright red. "One for the road." Jimmy said before leaning in and giving me a passionate kiss. Then he let me go, and I started to make my way back to Hannah.

"Megan." I heard Jimmy call from behind me. I looked over my shoulder at him, and he smiled at me. "I love you."

I smiled back at him. "I love you too." I told him, and then started walking back to Hannah again.
