On Sunday, Nick and Julianna returned, and we already had Connor packed and ready to go prior to their arrival. Zacky had come back often as promised, and Connor was picking the art of playing guitar up fairly quickly for being so young. Connor became extremely hyper when his parents arrived, dragging them both upstairs to show them the guitar Zacky had gotten him and he showed them how much he could play. They were pretty impressed, and Nick thought it was the coolest thing ever that Connor was getting lessons from Zacky Vengeance. Nick and Julianna decided to stay for a little bit and visit with us before they would take Connor home.
"Did you have fun?" Julianna asked Connor, and Connor smiled widely as he nodded.
"Yeah!! It was the funnest!!" Connor exclaimed, and Julianna laughed. "Can I come back?"
Julianna smiled back at him. "Well it's ok with us, but that's up to Aunt Megan and Uncle Jimmy."
Connor ran over to where Jimmy and I were sitting on the standing in the kitchen across from them. He stared at us hopefully as he spoke. "Can I come back?" He repeated his question, his voice innocent. His brown eyes were wide as he waited for an answer.
Jimmy crouched down to his level. "I'll give you a hint," Jimmy whispered, smirking. "the answer is yes." Connor's lips curled into a smile and he ran back to his parents.
"I can come back!" He squealed excitedly, and we laughed at him.
When Connor first arrived, he was quiet and rather shy. He didn't say much, but as the days went by, he seemed to come out of his shell. Now he would say paragraph after paragraph of words, I had a feeling a week with Jimmy would get him to become more hyper. Well, it did, Jimmy's hyperness was very infectious. Connor seemed less shy around just about everyone, even strangers.
A couple hours later, Nick and Julianna decided to go home, and Connor gave us both a hug before he left and promised us he would come back. Nick was going to bring him to our place on the weekends so he could continue getting lessons from Zacky, Nick knew that playing guitar was really important to Connor even though he was six. Connor would arrive on Friday nights after school and go home Sunday afternoons. Connor was thrilled with these arrangements, it was almost like we were a second set of parents to him and Zacky was his older brother. Zacky and Connor had that brother like bond, it must be a guitar thing or something.
As we watched them go from inside the house, Connor stuck his head out of the window and waved to us, a smile on his face. We waved back, and Connor put his head back inside the vehicle. Jimmy wrapped his arms around me and smiled down at me.
"The nephew of yours is fucking adorable." He said, and I laughed. "Thank you for having a brother with a kid."
I smirked at him. "You're welcome, even though I really have nothing to do with that. But, he is adorable, that much is true." I said, and he nodded before leaning down and kissing me passionately. I kissed him back just as passionately, pulling him close. When he pulled away, he smiled slightly at me.
"I love you." He said, kissing my forehead.
"I love you too." I replied, smiling as I said it.

We were just finishing up in the studio, I was telling Kristina about our week with Connor, when Connor himself came bounding in through the doors with Nick right behind him. He was here for his first weekend with us so he could get his lessons from Zacky. I smiled at him and opened up the door to the booth and he came running inside. He was greeting Kristina as Nick came over to me.
"Hey sis!" He smiled and gave me a hug. I loved having him around, I wanted it to stay like this forever so I would never have the possibility of losing my brother again.
