Not even one normal afternoon. What's supposed to be an ok field trip turns out to be another mission. Peter and I flew towards the ship until we saw the little light from Tony's beams flicker and went there.
"Raven!" Peter said as he swung through the city. "You know this is technically our first big mission together as a couple."
I looked back at him with my brow raised. "Do you really want to talk about that now?"
"Well, maybe not now. But it's so cool, don't you think?"
I couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah. If it makes you feel better."
"And I like saying you're my girlfriend," he said sheepishly.
Awwe, isn't he the cutest?
Shut up, Happy Me!
What? You like hearing it. You do love him after all.
We made it to the park to see Tony fighting one of the ugliest aliens I have ever seen.
"That's why I like you so much," I admitted, which earned a smile from Peter.
No, you're supposed to say love. L.O.V.E. Love!
The alien knocked Tony to the side. Tony bounced on the ground and slid across the field before he tried to get up. The alien snuck up behind him and was about to use his ax on him but Peter jumped ahead and grabbed it, stopping it.
"Hey, man," Peter greeted the alien before looking at Tony. "What's up, Mr. Stark?"
"Kid, where'd you come from?" Tony asked.
"A field trip to MoMA," Peter started before the alien grabbed him and tossed him near the fountains.
"Where's Raven?"
The guy was about to hit Tony again but I raised my hand to levitate the park bench and threw it at him. Then I brought my other hand up to send a dark beam under the guy's pit before punching him.
"You rang?" I replied. I looked up as the guy brought his ax down on me. I put my hands up to create a force field around me and Tony. "I told you I had a field trip today." I almost jumped back when the guy kept banging his ax on us.
"Uh, what is this guy's problem, Mr. Stark?" Peter asked as he got up. When the alien brought his hand up, I dropped the force field so Tony could fly out and blast him. But nothing seemed to be working as I tried to use my beams on him.
