ANNA

We get back to the Dawn Treader safely and continue on with our journey. Everyone was doing their own thing. Caspian and Drinian were discussing on the ways of avoiding the rash waters, Lucy was sewing a hole that was made through her vest during the battle at Narrowhaven, Edmund is cleaning the old Narnian sword, Adrian is spending time with Emma, and Eustace is sitting in the middle of barrels, writing in his journal.

I have always wondered what Eustace writes in his journal. He could be writing things like we 'kidnapped' him in a magical land and looking for lost Lords. After a while, Eustace went downstairs in quarters because Tavros was making fun of him talking to a bird.

While I was talking to the father who recently joined our crew, Rhince, about what had happened to his wife, Eustace suddenly appears from below deck with a medium size sword in his hand and runs into Tavros. "Watch it," Tavros glares at Eustace.

"Sorry."

Behind him, Reepicheep comes up. "Trying to run away? We're on a boat you know!" Reepicheep jumps on a basket in front of Eustace and he stops in his tracks. "Look, can't we just discuss this?" Eustace pleads.

"That was for stealing," Reepicheep slices his shirt. "That was for lying." He grabs an orange from his shirt. "And that," He hits Eustace in the face with an orange. "...was for good measure."

Eustace gets angry as his hand shakes, ready to strike with his sword. He takes a swing at Reepicheep, which he easily dodges and he laughs, and jumps onto a barrel of supplies.

"That's the spirit! We have ourselves a duel. Catch!" Reepicheep throws the orange and Drinian easily catches it with one hand.

Eustace was giving terrible swings and he did not raise his sword high enough. During the duel, Reepicheep was giving him advice until Reepicheep fell over the ship and Eustace got worried.

I have been there before and I would not fall for Reepicheep's tricks.

While Eustace was looking over the ship, Reepicheep was on the ropes and taps Eustace on the shoulder with his tail. Eustace turns around and Reepicheep pushes himself into Eustace and he fell within the barrels. When Eustace collides with the barrels, all of us hear a girl's scream.

Lucy and I walk over to the barrel. "Look," Lucy said.

A girl in a pink dress comes out of the barrel and I recognize her to be Gael, Rhince's daughter. "Gael? What are you doing here?" Rhince hugs his daughter.

Drinian walks over to Gael with an apple in his hand that Reepicheep throws at him. "Looks like we have an extra crew member," He says while looking at Rhince and he smiles at the Captain. Drinian gives the apple to Gael and leaves.

"Welcome aboard," I said. "Your Majesty," Gael curtsies.  "Call me Anna. Why don't you go on with Lucy?"

"Of course, Your Maj--Anna," Gael corrects herself and I smile at her. "And you call me Lucy." They both left to their rooms.

I enter the meeting room and see Edmund, Caspian, and Adrian along with Drinian talking while the map was laid out on the table. "Ah Anna. Just who we wanted to see," Adrian says.

"Is everything alright?" I ask. "Drinian said that Rhince's daughter is on the ship," Edmund says.

"That's right. She has already lost her mother to the mist. I am sure that she would not want to leave her father alone." They agree with me. "No one other than me can understand that feeling."

"What do you mean?" Edmund asks. I said that out loud?

Caspian and Adrian gives me a look, telling me not to say anything. "I mean.......when we were captured by Miraz, I did not want to leave my mother, that's why."
