ANNA
We walk outside and see weird creatures that resembled dwarves and they had one big foot. Along with the weird creatures, Caspian, Edmund, Emma and Adrian and our men were there and their swords were on the ground.
"Anna, Lucy!" Edmund exclaims in excitement and loos relieved to see us. "Your Majesties," Coriakin bows to them.
"Caspian, Edmund, Emma and Adrian, this is Coriakin. This is his island," I introduce him to them and they bow respectfully in front of him.
"That's what he thinks," a dwarf grabs our attention. "You have wronged us, magician."
"I have not wronged you. I made you invisible for your own protection," Coriakin corrects them and they start hopping on one foot away from Coriakin. "Protection? That's oppressive," One dwarf says.
"Oppressor!"
"I have not oppressed you," Coriakin justifies himself. "But you could've, if you wanted to."
"Be gone." Coriakin throws white particles at them and the dwarves get scared and went away. "What was that?" Lucy asks him. "Lint. But don't tell them," Coriakin says.
Coriakin turns the other way to go inside his mansion and we follow behind him. "What were those?" Eustace asks him. I didn't realize that he was here.
"Dufflepuds," Coriakin answers and we went inside his mansion. "What did you mean when you said you made them invisible for their own good?" I ask Coriakin, remembering what he said to the dufflepuds.
"It seemed the easiest way to protect them.......from the evil," He responds. "You mean the mist?" Emma questions. "I mean what lies behind the mist," Coriakin said.
He opens the door to his library and leads us all inside. The library was magical and quite beautiful. There was blue mist that looked like a sky up in the ceiling and the books were floating in air up above. Coriakin was holding a scroll and when he threw it, the scroll unrolled itself to reveal a map. The map settled on the ground showing the outline of Narnia. The centaur was in the corner blowing a horn and there was a battle going between Jadis and the Narnians. I recognize Peter on the white horse and couldn't stop smiling.
"It's quite beautiful," Eustace comments. We all look at him as we were shocked to hear a nice comment of Narnia from him. "I mean for a make-believe map in a make-believe world."
I spoke too soon.
"Here is the source of your troubles," Coriakin points to a spot on the map and the map moves to that point and an island is engulfed in darkness.
"The Dark Island," Coriakin names the eerie place. "A place where evil lurks. It can take any form. It can make one of your darkest dreams come true. It seeks to corrupt all goodness and steal the light from this world."
"How do we stop it?" I ask.
"You must break its spell," Coriakin says and he points at Edmund. "That sword you carry, there are six others."
"Have you seen them?" Adrian asks him. "Yes."
"The six Lords? They passed through here," Caspian guesses. "Indeed yes."
"Where are they headed?" Caspian asks. "Where I sent them." The map moved as he walks along it. "To break the spell, you must follow the Blue Star to Ramandu's Island. There the seven swords must be laid on Aslan's table. Only then can their true power be released. But beware. You are all about to be tested."
"Tested?" Lucy says with confusion.
"Until you lay down with the seventh sword, Evil has the upper hand. It will do everything in its power to tempt you," Coriakin explains and walks over to Lucy and I. "Be strong. Don't fall for the temptation."
