Lung Transplant

i'm so sorry i haven't published in a few days! i've been trying to find myself and write out a few chapters before publishing and feeling the need to rush while i write to get a chapter out! i love you guys! ❤️

"Mama" I hug her and she hugs me tightly, crying. "How is he?"

"Holding up" she sobs.

"I love you. He's gonna be okay, we know him. He's so strong, yeah?" I rub her back.

She pulls back. "I'm sorry to make you come back home"

"I wanted to come home anyways, mama. Russia isn't my place without you" I kiss her head.

"I love you, Taggy" she hugs me again.

"Tagg" dad walks out and I pull back with a smile. "I missed you, kiddo"

I walk to him and hug him. "I missed you too, dad"

"Lyla!" Callie hugs mama.

"What happened to your face, honey?!" mama asks Callie.

"Long story" Callie laughs.

"It's good to have you three back" Lovely walks over with uncle Dean.

"Missed you loads, buddy" Evelyn hugs me.

I smile and rub her back.

"You're so tall, shit face!" uncle Zach laughs.

"I didn't grow in over two weeks" I laugh back.

"Doll" dad calls for mama. "He's back"

Mama immediately runs into the room and we all follow behind.

I walk into the room, meeting my brother on his hospital bed.

"Tagger..." he clenches his jaw.

"Hey brother" I sit at the end of his feet.

"You didn't have to come all the way home..." he trails off. "Now I feel bad-"

"Don't feel bad!! Dude, your lung collapsed and you're getting a transplant in an hour! I'm gonna come home to see my big brother" I smack his leg.

"Thanks, Tagger" he frowns.

"How do you feel?" Callie sits next to the bed.

"Yeah... do you feel better?" Nick asks.

Oliver shakes his head. "No, still in so much pain, even with the meds. But hopefully after this transplant it'll be better"

"I'm really sorry" Callie frowns.

"It's not your fault, Callie" he chuckles and wiggles her hand.

She sadly smiles.

We talk for a good bit before they wheel Oliver out of the room.
