I walk out of the room in exhaustion before seeing Callie making breakfast. "Morning, bubba!" she chirps.

"Hey" I smile, sitting down.

"I need to talk to you..." she sits in front of me, presenting the eggs and bacon.

"What's wrong?" I immediately notice the hurt in her eyes.

She takes my hands. "It's been a month, bear"

"Oh... the position" I clench my jaw. "W-what are you gonna do?"

"I've been thinking, so so hard. And, I came to a decision" she frowns.

I squeeze her hands. "We're in this together"

She sighs and looks at me. "I'm gonna take it"

My heart drops. "You are..."

"You can take your time to think about if you wanna go with me or work it out... but I need to know by tonight" she frowns.

I look down.

"What are you gonna do?" Nick asks with a frown.

"If she's going, I'm going" I stress, looking down.

"You really love her... to give up everything for her" he looks down and I look at him. "Stop"

"Come, dude... please?" I stand up.

"I can't... I'm so happy with Jessica... I can't leave her. And I'm not" his nervously plays with his fingers.

"Hey, bear!" Callie walks in with Jessica.

"JESS!" Nick jumps up and hugs his little fling.

I smile and pull Callie into my side. "Have fun?"

"I did" she smiles sweetly and kisses my jawline. "Baby..."

"Hm?" I turn to her.

"Please don't stress this... please? We can make whatever your decisions is, work" she cuffs my cheeks and passionately kisses me.

I put my hands on my waist. "I wanna go with you"

"Are you sure?" she frowns.

"I'm sure. I wanna go. Plus, we can have our own house. Own family, Cal" I smile.

"In a few years, yes" she chuckles.

"As long as it means I can have kids with you, I don't care" I kiss her forehead and she stays quiet, making me sigh.

She always does this when I bring up kids.

I know she doesn't want them...

But if I want kids with anyone, it's her... it's gonna always be her.
