We were moved into Michael's

parents house in less than a week,

we didn't take much since Luke still

lived in the old flat. His girlfriend was

going to move in early August. Amberly

was a sweet girl which gorgeous brown

hair that I wished I had. She always pulled

it into a sleek pony tail. Karen, Michael's

mum, cleaned her entire house for our

arrival, which was foolish because

it would return to it's state of mess

quickly. I looked around mine and Michael's

room, which was the guest room. I was ready

to paint our room while Michael was

at work. I wore jean overalls and a purple

shirt with my curly blonde hair pulled up.

I began painting the walls the nice

light green. I was done in two hours flat

and I loved how it looked, Karen helped me

set up the room nice, with our new dark

wooden bed frame and nice white sheets.

The room looked stunning with Australia's

moon light coming through the window.

Michael came home at seven thirty just as

Karen was serving dinner. He kissed me

hello, saying his throat hurt from vocals

today. I laughed at him when he downed

three orange juice cartons. After I washed the

dishes, I showed Michael the bedroom, and

he gave me a thumbs up, telling me he was proud.

My mind kept flickering to the fact that

I started my new job tomorrow since

Michael decided it wasn't a safe

job for me at a jail. So tomorrow, I get

to be a room assistant in a kindergarten class.

I feel asleep with satisfaction of the room,

of living in this house,

of having a steady job,

of marrying Michael next year,

of falling asleep next to him,

of working through our problems instead

of pushing them aside,

of having a baby in three months with someone

i love.
