Jin stood there dumbfounded.
Who was this man? Was he even real? Was Jin still sleeping? Could he finally be free? Will his dream finally come true?
His train of thoughts was cut by a deep voice.
"Um... H-Hey? Are you okay?"
Jin felt his eyes tearing up. He couldn't believe what was there in front of him. He finally met someone. Although the man was a stranger, Jin had never felt so happy in his life. After all he had no interactions or even seen anyone for the past 11 years of his life. Jin couldn't take all of this in and he felt his eyes closing. Suddenly everything around was him turning black. He lost his balance and he felt a pair of hands catching his waist as he fainted.
A few minutes later, he felt tiny drops of water fall on his face. Jin rubbed his eyes, he looked at the young man- his savior.
Jin composed himself quickly and cleared his throat.
"H-hey, w-what makes you come here?" he stammered.
The visitor raised one of his eyebrows.
"The board outside the shop?"
"Board? Which one? What was written on it?" Jin asked him, puzzled.
"Uh - You really don't know ? It said, 'Play a game! Enter here and earn lots of wealth.'"
Jin couldn't comprehend what his visitor was trying to say. But then he remembered something. Something his father had told him years ago, before leaving him behind in this old shop.
"Jin you need to know something. I have cast a spell on this building. From now on you will stay here until someone comes here and uses a spell that'll set you free. It may take years, but remember: when they come, just tell them that if they need what they want, they will get cast by a spell that'll bind them with you forever."
Jin sighed. He tried to sound more confident and seem like there was actually a game.
"Ah - right! But before I start, may I know your name?"
"Kim Taehyung," the visitor replied.
"Good. I'm Kim Seokjin, by the way."
Taehyung was really good looking. His features were sharp and perfect. It was like he was sculpted by the greatest sculptor on this planet. His bangs were uneven but that didn't affect Taehyung's beauty in any way, infact they added to his perfect look.
Something Jin really liked was his voice. He wouldn't mind if he had to be together with this man for the rest of his life. But he didn't want to take it too fast. Moreover, he didn't even know Taehyung.
"Can you tell me more about yourself?" he asked.
"But why? Can't I just play the game and get what I need?"
Jin hadn't expected that. He tried to get Taehyung to speak.
"It's important. Try to understand."
" Uh... O-ok," Taehyung's eyes flitted around, "I have never really introduced myself to anyone actually. I -"
Taehyung was nervous . He didn't want Jin to know how poor he was. How much he needed money. This thought kept him from making any friends in his life thinking that they would make fun of him. He had no one to ask help for. But he had to do it.
Taehyung felt a gentle tap on his shoulder
"You know what? I'm not going to force you. If you are not comfortable, don't push yourself," Jin told him.
