Taehyung was anxious.

Two 20 year old wannabe magicians versus a fully experienced and dangerous Fyre. The odds were not in their favor.

And Taehyung didn't entirely like the way Jin was acting either. He was obsessed with his mother. He spent hours locked up in his room, reading his father's diary, convinced he'd found a way to get their Soul back with no deaths whatsoever.  Taehyung was more than a little skeptical, and with the full moon approaching, he grew more and more anxious.

Why the full moon? Taehyung asked himself one day. He'd sneaked into Jin's room, when the elder had left the house on a walk, and went through the diary, hoping to find answers and he did.

Fyres are the most powerful during a full moon. Their magical powers increase tenfold in the presence of moonlight.

Taehyung had rushed to Jin with the information, only to have the elder grab the book from the Taehyung, read the line and proceed to lock himself back into his room. Disappointment surged through Taehyung. He had wanted Jin to appreciate him, at least notice him and acknowledge his presence, but he didn't.

When Namjoon had performed the memory charm on the elder, Taehyung had been so very frightened that he would lose his memories, lose him. He had panicked even further when Jin's eyes did not flutter open as soon as Namjoon finished the charm. He had quarreled with Namjoon, yelled at him in his anxiety.

"Why isn't he opening his eyes?!" he had shouted at the Sprite, "You never should have done this! It was risky, but you went ahead with it. He could lose all his memories, but now I don't even know if he is going to wake up!"

"Taehyung," Namjoon tried to reason with him, "It's going to take some time for his brain to adjust to all the new information-"

"How can you be so sure?" Taehyung had snapped, "You should have stopped him when you had the chance. If everything goes downhill from here, it would all be worthless. It would ruin our lives! And it would all be for nothing! Why does it matter so much to find this witch? She wants us dead for goodness' sake! We're playing right into her hands. This is so foolish. You should have stopped him, Namjoon!"

"It was his decision, Tae," Namjoon had said, "I couldn't have stopped him from following through even if I had tried."

"But you didn't," he countered, "You didn't even try! You didn't! Do you really think I could bear it if I lost him too? First my family, and now him. If he opens his eyes and looks at me like I'm a complete stranger-"

"It would break you," Namjoon finished just as a tear rolled down Taehyung's flushed cheek.

He nodded weakly, sniffing and wiping his tears away. That was when Jin woke up, Taehyung had rushed to his side. His heart aching for the elder, who's brown eyes were filled with pain.

"Jin, are you alright?" he had asked, when Jin looked stable enough to reply.

The words, "Do you still remember me?" were on the tip of his tongue when Jin replied with, "I know where to find her."

The first words he had uttered when he woke up were about the witch. His hatred for Mina had only grown since then. With Jin ignoring him completely and Namjoon being busy with work, Taehyung had plenty of time to test a theory of his.

He sat in one of the chairs in the kitchen, a water jug placed on the table in front of him. He placed his hands on the table, took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

Move, he told the jug in his mind, Move.

He opened his eyes, eager to see if he had caused any movement.
