2019
Louis paced back and forwards in his living room waiting for Eleanor to get home. Freddie was sound asleep, he was only visiting Louis in Australia while his biological mother, Briana, got back from a trip.
The door opens and Eleanor walks in confused because Louis had a nervous look on his face.
"Babe, you look like you've seen a ghost, what's the matter?" Eleanor giggled and took Louis to sit on the couch.
"No no, I'm fine with it, I'm just worried on how you're going to react."
Eleanor starts to worry, "Lou, what's wrong?"
"H-Harry is in Australia and I found out I work with him and he invited me over today so we could talk about our past." Louis said quickly.
"Woah, slow down. That's fine, as long as you aren't planning to cheat on me or if you invite him to our wedding." Eleanor spoke.
"Well that's the issue, I did invite him to our wedding. He said he was happy for me so I figured that it would be fine."
"Wait, he's coming to OUR wedding?" Eleanor started to get a little frustrated, she had to approve of the guests Louis invited.
"Hey! Don't worry he said he might not be coming anyway." Louis looked to the ground and continued to speak. "I might just go to bed, I'm tired."
"Okay, talk to me tomorrow and uninvite Harry from the wedding."
The next morning Louis woke up early so he could call up Harry and meet him somewhere.
"Hey Harry, sorry if I woke you up, I talked to Eleanor." Louis stopped waiting for Harry to reply.
"How did she take it?" Harry responded.
"Well she's fine with us hanging out but she's not happy about you coming to the wedding."
"Okay meet me at that café again and you can explain to me more about it."
Harry ended the call and immediately drove to the café where Louis was already inside.
"Hey, so didn't you tell her that we are just friends?" Harry asked a little aggressive.
"Harry, she has never really liked you and she thinks it would just be weird." Louis stammered.
Harry started to get little frustrated and upset, he really wanted everything to go back to normal.
After the two finished eating breakfast and talked a bit about the wedding, they went back to Harry's house.
"Can I ask you something?" Louis asked looking at the picture frame of them that Harry kept.
"Yeah of course."
"Did you want to go to wedding because you're happy for me, or did you want to come so that Eleanor can get jealous?" Louis said quickly.
"Lou- I wouldn't want to mess up anything I want to go because we need a fresh start and me being there to support you is a great start to a new life. We broke up a few years ago, that's all in the past now." Harry looked Louis in the eyes, he still had feelings for him but thought that the best way to get over him was to watch him get married to someone else.
"I'll talk to Eleanor then, see if she'll let you go."
Louis left Harry's house and went back to his own to see Eleanor in the kitchen making herself some breakfast.
"You were supposed to take Freddie to Lottie so she could fly back to Brianas." Eleanor said not even looking at Louis.
"Sorry I had to see Harry we talked about the wedding."
"And?" Eleanor said finally looking towards Louis.
"He said whatever I had with him is in the past now and he wants to be there to support me to make a fresh new start in life with you."
"Did he really say that?" Eleanor asked.
"Yes."
"Then I'll think about re-inviting him."
