2016
A couple of weeks passes, no sign of Eleanor, everything was back to normal. Harry was straight onto wedding planning while Louis was constantly writing songs.
"Where do you want to get married?"
"A beach perhaps?" Louis questioned?
"Sounds incredible, but too much sand blowing everywhere."
Harry went through all possible wedding locations until he figured one out.
"How about... that good old café where we first met"
"That's an excellent idea, but it would seem weird to most people."
"So? We should redecorate it and make it look elegant and perfect." Harry got up and hugged Louis from behind.
"Haha you can do all the designing Hazza, I'll work on getting the actual venue, figuring out the dates and inviting guests."
Louis grabbed his car keys so he could go grocery shopping. "Don't forget to get the taco making kit, it's the best." Harry shouted out.
"Yes Harry, I'm only grabbing a few things, won't be long." Louis closed the door behind him and turned up the radio to hear the classic 'What Makes You Beautiful' and Louis began to sing his heart out.
Louis walked into the grocery store with great energy after listening to some good old One Direction but completely froze as he saw Eleanor wandering the aisles. Louis quickly went to the other side of the store hoping he shouldn't have to run into her.
"Louis? Is that you?" Louis heard a soft voice from behind him and slowly turned around.
"Eleanor? What a surprise!"
"Look you're probably still really mad at me, but I would like to chat over some things over coffee, if you are free?" Eleanor had a sorry look on her face so Louis agreed to get coffee with her the following week.
They didn't walk into each other afterwards since Louis wanted to get out of the shop as quick as he could. He arrived home yelling out to Harry.
"Hazza! I got the taco kit, did you want to get the frying pan ready?"Harry raced downstairs to get the pan ready, Louis was never good at cooking so Harry would always cook if Louis got the ingredients.
"So uh, I saw Eleanor today at the shops.." Louis looked to Harry nervously.
"What happened?"
"She just wanted me to give her another chance and start fresh. Next week we agreed to get coffee together." Louis said as he expected Harry to react intensely.
"I trust you, so I'm fine with you going as long as you keep your phone with you at all times." Harry stopped cooking and looked down to Louis.
"Don't worry, I'm still pissed off at her." Louis stopped and changed the subject.
"So how's the wedding planning going?"
"It's actually going really well, I got carried away and did your job of getting the venue. It's booked for next year September. Our anniversary." Harry smiled as he dipped his finger in the saucepan to taste it.
"That's ages away Hazza." Louis didn't look too happy.
"I know, but we both want this to be special and have all our amazing friends and family prepared to be there, and if we really look at it time flies."
Louis grabbed Harry's waist and pulled him close to him, he kissed him.
Harry broke the kiss, "Loubear I'm trying not to burn our kitchen down. Save the kissing for dessert."
Louis smiled and walked off to set the dinner table up.
They ate their dinner and watched a few movies together as Louis fell asleep on Harry's lap.
