Since I was there early I decided to stretch then practice my solo since I will be doing it first. When Maddie and jojo arrived we changed into our costumes my mom did my makeup and hair I rehearsed my solo then the there of us headed backstage. "And now from the ALDC we have number 45 Amelia with Into Me"the announcer said when I got backstage. I was really nervous this was my chance to beat Maddie I have to win. After my solo was over I was exhausted this solo was a lot more difficult then my last solo and my nerves weren't helping. "Was it good"I said "it was beautiful"Jojo said "thanks"I said "next from the ALDC we have number 46 jojo with Million Dollar Baby"the announcer said "good luck"I said. Jojo did amazing she had a lot of sass, but this is her forte so I'm not surprised. "You were amazing"Maddie said "thanks"jojo said "next from the ALDC We have number 48 Maddie with Timeless"the announcer said and Maddie headed on stage. Maddie was breathtaking, I don't know who will win we all did amazing. "You were phenomenal"I said "thanks now let's head backstage we now have to worry about the duets"Maddie said. The duet was going well we're pretty and we were in sync until the last lift Issac was lifting me in the air and doing the twirl when he dropped me my back was in pain, but I couldn't walk off stage I attempted to cover it up. "Are you okay"Brynn said when I got off stage "my back is in pain"I said "are you going to be able to dance"Maddie said "let me see"I said I did a backbend my back hurt a little but I can dance through the pain. My back was hurting but I would have to fight through the pain, it wasn't a lot of pain and the number was only one minute and thirty seconds. "How's your back"Kenzie said "I think my back starting I feel better"I said "that's good, but you could of gotten seriously hurt"Maddie said "I know but I couldn't miss out in this dance"I said "come on let's head backstage we have to get ready for awards"Nia said and we all ran backstage. "Amelia I got word from Issac that your back was hurting from the fall is this true"Abby said "yes mam I just didn't want to let you down, and have to have the group reblock the number"I said "well as much as I appreciate your dedication to this team, if your hurt you shouldn't be dancing, you could've really injured your back"Abby said "I'm sorry I'll tell you if I get hurt next time"I said "let's hope there isn't another time, now you guys need to head out for awards"Abby said. We all nodded and headed to the stage to be ready for awards.
