“Is everything wired and set? We need to catch these culprits once and for all!” Ciel shouted into his walkie-talkie. Of course, he knew who the culprits probably were. He just needed proof and a reason to kick them off his property. Again. Maybe this time, they won’t come back until Thanksgiving.
“Yes, sir! All the cameras are online and the motion sensors are in place.” Mey Rin replied over the static. They had started on her plan, after cleaning all the orange junk and the pumpkins. So far, everything was going to plan and they had eyes everywhere possible. All they had to do was watch and wait.
LATER
“What’s your status, Messy Maid, over?” Mey Rin didn’t take her eyes off the multiple camera monitors in front of her as she answered the radio. It was close to 2 in the morning and all the servants were still up, watching for anyone suspicious.
“Nothing so far, Crazy Cook. Over.” So far, everything had been quiet and they were all close to nodding off. The young master was already fast asleep, with instructions to wake him if anything occurred.
“Alright, keep your eyes-wait a second. Over.” Mey Rin almost looked to the radio in her hand in surprise. Something must have happened, which meant something could have gotten past her eyes.
“What happened, Crazy Cook? Over.” She waited. Nothing. “Crazy Cook? Over?”
“Genius Gardener just radioed that one of the sensors went off in the garden line. Keep your eyes on camera 5 and 6. Over.”
“Alright, over.” Mey Rin scooted herself closer to the cameras to her right. It took a few minutes, but she finally saw someone. “Messy Maid to Crazy Cook. Over. We have a suspect on camera 5. Over.”
“Alright, we’re heading down, over.” Mey Rin didn’t reply as she kept her eyes on the black dot. It was nerve wracking, watching and waiting for something to happen. Suddenly, she thought of something.
“He doesn’t have anything orange…” Just as she was about to radio Bart, she saw two blurs tackle the stranger. “Oh, dear.” Just as she feared, the stranger wasn’t a stranger at all. She watched in horror as Finny and Bart tried to fight Sebastian, who was back in his black uniform. “Eep!” The camera fuzzed out once a rock flew towards it and Mey Rin ran out of the room to find Ciel.
LATER
“Well, this didn’t work either.” Ciel frowned at the servants in front of him in his pajamas. Bart, Finny and Sebastian were all covered in dirt, flowers and rock dust. Of course, all of that came from the Phantomhive’s garden, which was completely destroyed. “Why were you…yawn…out there that late anyways?” He yawned. It was too early for any of this to happen. At least, that’s what he thought.
“I was setting the poor cat free into the woods.” Sebastian sniffed annoyed. Ciel raised his eyebrows for him to continue. “The cat that Bart was so intent on attacking earlier.”
“Oh. We need to get you over this cat fetish.” He mumbled. Louder he said, “Either way, that plan didn’t work either. But at least nothing too bad happened.”
“You might want to recheck that.” Tanaka stated as he pointed at the window again. Ciel whirled around and screamed.
“WHY?!” The garden was still destroyed. Only, the destruction was sets into a pumpkin and everything was doused in orange paint. There were also more of those creepy smiling pumpkins on the lawn. This time, they were also in the trees staring at him. In the orange leafed trees with orange painted trunks containing orange streamers. And in the mist of the trees was a large white sign. A sign that had ‘PUMPKINS!!’ written in large orange paint
