Chapter 9.

Amanis POV

"I know what it looked like at the party, but I promise it's not what you're thinking." He started.

"That girl that I was carrying is my cousin. She was drunk and acting the fool so her friend decided to call me to pick her up. I wasn't expecting you to see me there,not that it's a problem...you just wouldn't give me time to explain myself and I don't blame you." He said
"Ok so why didn't yo-." I tried saying but was cut off by his hand across my mouth.

"Let me talk." He said sternly looking me deep in my eyes.
Even if I wanted to say something I couldn't. I was in total shock. I nodded in agreement. With that he slowly moved his hand off of my mouth.

It kinda turned me on the way he looked at me. But let's focus on the main reason we are here.

"The plan was that I pick her up and take her to her friends house that was about a few blocks away and come back and spend the rest of the night with you. Obviously things didn't go as planned,and I'm sorry." He said to me still looking into my eyes.

"Can I speak now?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yes." He said through a little laughter.
"What are you sorry for?" I asked.
"I don't know, I just felt like I should apologize" he shrugged.
"I'm the one that should be sorry for not giving you time to explain yourself and being so stubborn." I said while standing up.
"It's okay beautiful. I probably would've reacted the same way if was in your shoe."He said with a cute smile. I couldn't help but smile too. Especially due to the fact that he called me beautiful.

"So we cool?"
"Of course" I replied joyfully.

He stepped forward a little. He leaned in gave me a little kiss on my lips.
He must've been able to read my mind because he leaned back in and kissed me again.
This time it wasn't a little peck on the lips.
This was a kiss,KISS!

His lips were so soft and gentle. The kiss was slow and passionate. I could feel my heart beat increasing.
I could feel his tongue licking my lips almost begging for entrance which of course I agreed.

His tongue entered my mouth and our kiss became deeper.
He held my waist tightly while I wrapped my arms around his neck. Each time his tongue goes deeper our kiss became more intense and passionate. This blowed my mind completely.

Just when I thought nothing could ruin this moment his phone rang.

Wow. Just WOW!

"Hello"
"Yeah I'll be right there"
With that he hung up

That's my boss. She's wondering where I am,so I gotta get going. You wanna grab a pizza later or something?" He said while fixing his apron back properly.

"Umm yeah. We could do that." I said putting my hair behind my ears.

"Around seven? Is that okay?" He asked
"Yeah,that's perfect."

He opened the door and gestured his hand so that I could walk out first.
Without another word I quickly walked away.
I couldn't contain the huge grin I had on my face.

When I walked into the dining area I saw that Hailey and tia were both seated near a window.

When I sat down beside tia they both stared at me as if I was crazy.

"What?" I asked pretending to not know why they both looked at me that way.

"So...are you planning on telling us where the hell you just came from?" Tia said sounding a lot like my mother.
"In the storage room with Kyle mom!" I said sarcastically.
"Doing what?" Hailey tried asking through her laughter.

"He was explaining his self and apologizing" I informed them.
"Apologizing for what exactly?" Tia asked.
"I don't know. He just said he felt like he should apologize so he did." I said while taking my food out of the bag.
"He should've made your ass apologize for jumping to conclusions." Hailey tried saying with he mouth filled with food.
"Stop talking with your mouth full it's disgusting." Tia said to her with her faces wrenched up.
"I just looked at the time...we gatta go!" Said Hailey.
We got our food in to-go bags and headed for the car.

When we got back at school I noticed a very familiar car in the parking lot which belonged to Irvin. I had already decided in my mind if I saw him I'd pretend that I didn't see him. Even though I had about a thousand questions for him.

When we got back up to the dorm i couldn't help but Irvin take over my thoughts. About a million thoughts pertaining to Irvin.
Hailey must've noticed that I was about a thousand miles away.

"What's wrong?" She asked while resting one hand on my shoulder.
"Nothing.i should be going now...class start in about 15 minutes." I said quickly.
She only nodded in agreement.

"I'll catch up with you guys later." I said while walking out the door.

While walking in the halls I heard a very familiar laughter.
I tried to walk the opposite direction so that I didn't run into him.

Just As I thought I was out of the clear I heard some loud talking ahead me. When I lifted my head my eyes landed on Irvin immediately.
My heart race increased.  Instead of letting all my focus be on him I directed my gaze somewhere else.
When I walked pass he and his friends I didn't say anything. Neither did he.
Just when I was about to cry I head him say to his friends "I'll catch up y'all later."

I heard his footsteps approaching.
"Amani!"he said while catching up to me.
I stayed quite. Totally ignoring him.

The next thing I knew was that I was being dragged into this classroom by my hand.

"Irvin quit playing." I nearly shouted.
"Oh she speaks!" He said sarcastically.
I couldn't help but laugh a little .
