After dropping off both James and Alyssa to class, Brooke headed to her own. Her two friends had separate classes, which is why the blonde now heard the bell ring before she was even halfway to her next period. Great, she thought. This teacher already hates me.

As she made her way into the classroom, everyone turned to look at her. She ignored their stares and sat in her seat, which was placed towards the back. She never liked sitting in the very front.

After taking attendance, Brooke's teacher asked, "Now why, Ms, Barnes, are you late to my class for the third time this month?"

Brooke didn't get a chance to answer, as the class asshole, Jack, did it for her.

"She was probably screwing that psychopath in the bathroom!" He yelled out to the class.

"Nah, he's too much of a freak to get laid!" His friend retorted, just as loudly.

Even though all of the class was laughing, the teacher stayed silent, as if the two boy's hadn't said anything. Brooke could've sworn she even saw her crack a smile. The blonde looked around the class in disgust, not even surprised that no one stood up for her. Fine, she realized. Guess i'll have to do something myself.

She stood up with a slight smirk on her lips. She slowly made her way towards Jack. The room fell into complete silence; everyone was waiting to see what happened next.

"Hey, Jack?" Brooke said in a tone the boy in front of her found quite scary. "Don't you ever talk about me or my friend like that again."

The blonde threw a hard slap at the boy's face, the sound echoing throughout the classroom. All of the students made noises of surprise.

"You little bitch! No wonder you only hang around with that freak show! You to are perfect for each other!" The teenager yelled at her, holding the side of his face.

At his words, Brooke basically jumped into him and started punching his with no restrictions. The two tumbled into the floor, as their classmates scurried out of the way; they did not want to get caught in the middle of this.

She threw fist after fist at the boy's face, ones that would most likely result in bruises. She landed one final punch, successfully breaking his nose. Some blood got onto Brooke's shirt, but other than that she looked untouched. Well, that and her hair was all in her face.

"Don't you ever talk about my best friend again, Jackass." Brooke told him, venom lacing her every word.

The boy nodded vigorously, obviously scared of the girl who stood in front of him.

The teacher finally spoke up, only to say, "Brooke, go the the principal's office! Jack, go to the nurse's office, you poor thing."

Brooke would've argued with her teacher, but she chose to just make her way out of the class, so she wouldn't get into even more trouble.
