[2:12 p.m.]

"There's really nothing, Jinhae-ssi..." I stated, scrolling through the files and videos the Blood League has obtained so far.

"Are you sure, Jungkook-ah?"

"Ne."

I heard her sigh from beside me, standing up from the chair and walking over to Namjoon-hyung.

Right now, we're inside one of Blood League's hidden bases here in Korea, still searching for any clues about who killed our comrade three days ago. As of now, we still don't know anything. If we don't get any more information about the killer, then it's possible that it'll strike again and we won't be able to do anything.

Ugh, what if my parents get involved in this?

I massaged my temples, shutting the laptop close.

"Kook-ah, there you are." I turned my head to look at Taehyung-hyung, but when I did, he wasn't looking at me.

He had his eyes on Joonie-hyung and Hae-ssi, who were talking to each other. I see Hae-ssi giggle at something hyung said, and I almost laughed at Taehyungie's reaction.

He scowls before he turns his attention to me. His expression fades into a solemn one while he walks to where I'm sitted.

"What is it hyung?" I questioned, leaning backwards on my chair. "I managed to get the autopsy results of Jisung-ssi. Get them from my office later and please check on my laptop once you're done here, there's something off with it and you're the only one I know who's good at things like that." I nodded, though I wanted to ask about why he wants me to get the autopsy files, not Jinhae-ssi. I mean, she's one of the bosses, and she's in here too.

Why not her?

"You got it, hyung." I responded with a smile. Taehyungie smiles back, turning around and exiting the room.

I sighed and stretched on my seat, hearing the satisfying pops of my bones.

"Jungkook, did your parents tell you anything about this case?" Jinhae-ssi asks, her arms folded on her chest. I shook my head 'no'.

"Looks like all we can do for now is stay alert. We never know when we'll be attacked next."

"Yoongz is already relaying messages to all our members. If this happens again, I'm sure everyone has their own security measures by now so we'll have a lead."

"But do you guys have a suspicion on who might be behind all this?" I queried at the two, who simultaneously looked at me.

"It's just a shallow suspicion. We have no actual proof." Jinhae-ssi responds. I nodded in understanding, getting up from my seat. "I'll have to go check on Taehyungie's office, just call me if you need me." The two of them hummed as an answer.

"What... the f(lower)..."

I mumbled under my breath, my right ear pressed against hyung's office door. I looked around my surroundings before going back to what I was doing.

"Holy s(hoot)."

I released a breathy chuckle as I stood up straight, my fist on my lips to prevent myself from bursting out laughing. I can't believe this s(hoot). I know it's been three long years since we've last seen him, and I've been wondering when and how Taehyung-ssi met that new Soora girl. He never told us any extra detail, just the fact that she was his right-hand. But I'm guessing she's someone special to him if he kept her until this point of time. I can't help but be curious though: who really is this Soora?

And how am I supposed to check on hyung's laptop when hyung's doing her on his table, in his office?
