[10:30 a.m.]

"Hyung, you're serious?" I spoke through my cellphone.

"Do I sound like I'm joking, Joon?" Yoongi-hyung snarkily responds, earning a chortle from me. "You can't blame me, that news is quite something, after all."

"Whatever, smarta(sh). I'm just informing you, it's not yet final. This is just between the boys, including Taehyung, and my sister." He utters in his usual tired tone.

"Where's the location of this so-called 'new base' of ours?"

"Somewhere. As of now, I have three choices. I'll have to consult father about this and I have to deal with the layouts and all that s(hoot)."

"Cool, cool." I replied, sitting in front of my computer as I turned it on. "What made you think about having common base for Ra Victorium and the Blood League?" I questioned, and I could hear hyung groan on the other side of the call.

"We're gonna have to stay together a lot more nowadays because of that jacka(sh) threat days ago." "So you actually care about us?" "I never said c(rud) about that." I released a chuckle at his answer. "Anyway, I'm gonna have to call you again. I'm processing some papers right now and the others are still working on Jisung-ssi's case." Hyung adds. "Got it. I think I'll come over later to help. See you later then." "See you."

I placed my phone beside the keyboard after hyung ended the call. I opened my email account and to my surprise, I received a new message from an unknown user. I decided to read it aloud.

" 'Hey Namjoon, this is Soora, Taehyung's assistant.' Huh? So this is her email..." I raised an eyebrow as I spoke. Why did she have to send me this when she can come to me personally?

" 'I need help in reexamining Jisung-ah's place, Taehyungie said he needs more clues besides the one we got the other day. Are you up for the task...' She calls her boss 'Taehyungie'?" I leaned on my chair, staring at her message for a while.

"Hm, I don't see why not."

I typed in a reply and sent it to her account.

[2:37 p.m.]

"Oh, so you were the ones who visited Angelo that time. Minnie did mention something about another pair visiting him before she did."

Soora nods with a smile on her face. "Back then, some of our members started dying mysteriously without any clues, so we came to ask him about it. But now that the same thing happened to Ra Victorium, we think that the deaths are somehow connected."

"Taehyung also said that they already have a suspicion on who's behind everything." I stated as we both sat down on a couch.

We were back in Jisung-ah's house, searching for any clues leading to caused his sudden death. It was just the two of us here, and so far, we haven't found anything.

"Do you know who?"

I turned my head to look at her. "Taehyung didn't tell you?" She shakes her head 'no'.

"Well, it's just a mere suspicion, we haven't actually confirmed anything yet." I sighed as I leaned on my back, my hands behind my head. "Besides, if he really was the one behind Jisung-ssi's death, then he can't be the one behind that of your members. That man only had a grudge against us..."

I could hear Soora shift closer to where I was sitted, until I could feel her leg touching mine.

"...unless he has connections that relay information about our mafia groups working together again." By now, Soora's hand was right beside my thigh, and her face was slowly getting closer and closer to mine.

"But what I don't understand is that why would he victimize your league? Did he have a problem with Taehyung?"

I looked away from the short-haired female as I talked. What was she trying to do? I swallowed a lump in my throat as I feel myself beginning to sweat.

"Anyway, let's head back and report to the others." I hastily stood up from the couch and walked to the exit, leaving the girl behind. She followed after me immediately and took ahold of my wrist. I froze on my place and slowly turned around to meet her gaze.

"Why don't we stay a little longer? I want to know more."
