Detention (Part one)

A/N: Hey guys!! Last chapter was a bit shitty...this one's gonna be good I swear! Read one!

Now on with the chapter...

Will and Nico gentlely laid the dryad down. Will got some nectar and started cleaning the wound, while Nico rushed and got some bandages.

Will applied some murky green paste and started singing under breath. The longer he sang, the more pale and tired he looked.

'Will, I think you should stop now. You'll faint anytime now.' Nico warned. But he continued chanting.

Untill, a strong voice from behind said, 'Will, please stop.' It was Chiron, in his centaur form.
'Go to the big house. Mr.D is waiting. I'll take care of her.'

Will and Nico exchanged a look which said that 'We're in trouble.' They went out of the infirmary and saw Kayla was waiting outside.

'How's the dryad?' She asked. Will glanced back and said 'She'll be fine'. Nico was puzzled. 'Kayla, how do you know about this?' He asked.

Kayla said, 'Owing to the fact that my brother can't go around without causing trouble', Will gave her a look. Kayla ignored him and continued, 'I decided to follow you.'

Will looked simply stunned. Kayla put her hands up in surrender, 'Look guys, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to invade your privacy, but the match was interesting. And yeah, I had sent for Chiron as I trust my bro, but I thought he might need help. And I stand corrected.' Kayla said casually.

Nico took in a deep breath. Kayla was right in her place; maybe, what she did wasn't exactly wrong. He felt the same way for Hazel.

'Never mind that Kayla. I know you were worried for Will, and I understand that. I feel the same for Hazel.' Nico said. Kayla gave him a warm smile. 'Thanks man', she said. She rounded on Will. 'See? He is soo much smarter than you! I wish you weren't such a dumb bean. Anyways, go to the Big House. Mr.D is waiting.' Kayla said. She went away smirking. Will was flushed.

Nico took in a deep breath. 'Anyways, let's go.' Will nodded, and together, the went to the Big House.

They entered the Big House and went to the room where the war council was held. Mr.D was already seated there, sipping Diet Coke and reading some magazine. He saw them and raised an eyebrow.

'Another accident? You chucklehads have sworn that you'll never let me rest in peace.' He said and returned to his magazine. Just then Chiron entered. Will got to his feet and asked him, 'How's the dryad?'

'She'll be fine. You gave her timely treatment.' Chiron answered. Then he turned to Mr.D, 'Umm...Mr.D? You were supposed to give them some punishment.'

'Who are they?'

'Will Solace and Nico di Angelo?'

'What did they do?'

'They hit a dry-'

'Yeah, yeah whatever. Nick Amright and Walt Smith...I think you should-'

'It's Nico di Angelo and-'

'Don't interrupt me Chiron. Yeah, so whatever the heck your name is you'll do dishes for a week after dinner, starting from today. Now get the tartarus out of here.' Mr.D said without looking up from his magazine.

Will and Nico left the room. Nico couldn't believe it. Not even twenty four hours since he got out of the infirmary, and he landed both of them in detention.

Will's voice brought him back to reality. (As always) 'Nico? You're hurt.' He pointed at his forearm. Will wasn't lying. Blood was oozing from the gash were Will had struck him.

'Come to the infirmary. I'll heal you.' Will offered.

'No thank you'

'You are coming. No excuses.'

'Come on Nico. I am giving you a choice.' With that Will dragged Nico by his wrists. Nico's insides melted at the blondie's touch.

Nico sat on a chair and Will sat opposite him. He did the same procedure: cleaning with nectar, silver paste, bandages and chanting. But this time Will looked seriously tired. He looked pale and his forehead was shining with sweat.

'Will stop. I'm fine now.' Nico said. He tried to get up, but Will pushed him down. 'You aren't going anywhere. I'm not done yet.'

'I'm leaving now.'

'No you aren't.'

"Yes I am.'

'Why do you want to leave? Too tired of staying in the infirmary?'

'No you idiot! Can't you see all this chanting is taking up all your energy? You'll faint anytime now!' Nico said genuinely. Will was momentarily stunned. His fierce sapphire eyes softened.

'You concerned about me Nico?'

'You gotta problem with that?'

'Why should I have a problem abou that?' Will said. He was smiling faintly. Nico swore he was as red as a tomato right now.

'So anyways, wanna go for dinner? It's almost time' Nico asked.

'Why not?' Will answered. Before leaving, they checked on the dryad. She seemed fine now. Will said that he was certain she'll be discharged to orrow.

On their way, they were joined by Kayla. 'How was the time with Mr.D? Got any punishments?'

'Same old, same old. Scrubbing dishes for a week after dinner.' Will answered.

'Okay. You know Nico, when Will does the dishes, he always manages to take a second bath...with dishwasher, soap and water.'

'Kayla!' Will said. He was looking like a cute little tomato. (Cute??) Nico was giggling.

'You have no rights to laugh at me shorty.' Will said.

'Aww Solace, at least come up with a good nickname.' Nico said teasingly.

'Whatever, Death Boy .' Will replied, rolling his eyes. Nico was still giggling. Will's eyes widend a little.

'You get dimples you know,' Will said.

'What??' Nico asked.

'Yep, on your right,' Will said.

Nico touched his right cheek. 'I never knew.'

'You don't smile that often. Check in the mirror, you'll know.' Will said. Kayla nodded in agreement.

'You should smile more often. You look cute.' Will continued.

Nico raised his eyebrows. 'Awww', Kayla sang, 'You two are adorable!' Will blushed crimson. And
Nico was sure he looked the same.

'Let's go for dinner now,' Nico said, breaking the tension. 'Will, I'll see you near the scullery after the dinner. Will smiled in reply. Kayla was eyeing the two and smirking.

Nico went to the Hades table.

He was feeling oddly excited for doing the dishes today.
