Nico walked inside his cabin and shut the door. He couldn't believe what had just happened. He was getting an archery lesson with Will!

Even though he had zero interest in archery, he was attending the lesson just for the sake of getting a chance of spending some time with the son of Apollo, given to his busy schedule.

The next morning, while Nico was having his breakfast, he was cornered by none other than Jason Grace.

'Soooo', Jason sang as slid on the bench next to him, 'Who is-'

'-the mystery girl who stole our Death Boy's heart, huh?' Piper finished as slid next to Jason. Nico gulped and shot Jason an uneasy look. At that precise moment, Lucy, one of Piper's siblings called her from the Aphrodite table: 'Piipperr...come here quickly!' She said. "See you in a sec', Piper said, as she went to her cabin's table.

Jason looked at Nico. 'Look, telling her or not is totally your choice. But trust me, she won't judge you.' He said. Nico quietly drummed his fingers on the table, contemplating whether to come out to Piper or not. Jason was right; Piper won't judge him. She would accept him the way he is. Love is love, after all. Who can understand this better than the daughter of a love goddess?

Piper came back and regained her seat. 'So', she said, 'Who is she, Nico? Tell me!' Piper said. Nico said nothing and quietly stared at his breakfast. 'Aw c'mmon Nico, don't be so shy! Is it Kayla, from Apollo Cabin? You're always looking that side! Tell me who is your-'

'Pipes I'm gay.' Nico said.

'What?' 

'I said that I'm gay...I'm into guys.'

Piper didn't say anything. A calculating look replaced her mischievous smile. Nico feared the worst.

'So Will Solace, huh?' Piper said, a playful smirk on her face. Nico gave a loud sigh of relief. Piper looked at him with amusement. 'You didn't expect me to react so nonchalantly.' She said.

'What?' Nico said.

'You thought that I'll make a great deal out of the fact that you are  homosexual. Honestly Nico, it doesn't matter to me unless you are happy...and you be the wonderful person you are.' Piper said. Jason gave him a see-I-told-you look.

Nico was touched by Piper's words. It had been a long time since someone, other than Jason or Reyna or Hazel had told him such good and encouraging words. 

'Thank you Pipes.' He managed to say.

'Well, you're welcome.'

'How'd you know I like Will?'

Piper raised her eyebrows. 'No one's blind, di Angelo. By the way, what are you doing this afternoon?' She added.

'Archery lesson with Will Solace...three in the afternoon.'

'Alone?'

'Nope. Kayla's gonna be there.'

'Enjoy your date.'

'It's just an archery lesson.' Nico said, blushing furiously.

Piper rolled her eyes. 'Alright, archery lesson, as you say.'

'I don't like your tone.'

'Oh, by the way, dress nice.'

'What?' 

'You heard me,' Piper said, winking, as she left the table.

I'm sorry guys...I was a little preoccupied with work. Next week, my periodic tests are starting. *exsasperated sigh*
