Yuri grunted then sat up with his eyes closed. He slowly opened them and took in his surroundings. His room looked the same as usual. He stretched out then ruffled his hair. He looked towards his dresser and saw his pet.

"What time is it..." he muttered, getting out of bed to feed his turtle.

His turtle slowly walked, not paying him much attention. He fed his turtle then searched around for his phone. He finally found it then realized he was starting to run late.

"Hey, Yuri!" a group of students called out.

Yuri simply waved, making his way to homeroom. He opened the door and was suddenly approached by Yui.

"Look who finally showed up. I tried waking you up but you wouldn't budge." said Yui with crossed arms. "You should really start using alarms. We may not be together like this next year."

"My bad." said Yuri before heading over to his desk.

He took out his books then started to remember what occurred the day before. He kissed Itome. He could easily play it off as earning more points for the monthly rankings. He was lucky that his impulsiveness didn't ruin him this time around. Yui stared at Yuri, wondering when he got so serious about paying attention in class.

Was something bothering him? It wasn't like he could just ask at the moment, since their seats were far from each other. Yuri closed his books and lied his head down. He didn't feel like thinking about much. He didn't want to do anything at all.

"Yo, wake up." Yui said, nudging Yuri's head. "Ayato."

Yuri rubbed his eyes then looked around. Less than half of the class remained in the classroom. How long had he been out?

"Do you want anything?" Yui asked.

"No." he mumbled, still feeling groggy.

"Don't give me that. I doubt you ate breakfast. I'll be back, so don't disappear on me." Yui fussed before leaving the classroom.

Yuri leaned back in his chair then heard someone call his name. Toru. Toru happily waved from the doorway and made his way over to his desk.

"You haven't eaten yet, right? Here, have some of this." said Toru, eyes sparkling.

"No..." Yuri said, pushing it away.

"Why not? I doubt Yui is bringing you anything back. Unless you planned to eat at the cafeteria...?" Toru said, looking at him.

Yuri let his head rest against his desk. It was then he jumped out of his seat and made his way to Itome's classroom.

"Wait, Yuri!" Toru shouted after him. "Goodness..."

Yuri hurried down the stairs and made his way out the building, only to bump into someone in the process.

"Yuri? Where are you off to so fast?" Toono asked, collecting himself from the impact.

"Itome." he replied before taking off.

"But he's-" Toono said then realized he was too far to hear him. "...by the tennis court..."

Toru wheezed heavily, gaining Toono's attention.

"Have you... you seen... Yuri...?" Toru asked in between breaths.

"He took off towards the 3rd year building. Do you need something from him?" Toono asked curiously.

"I was trying to... offer him some of my lunch but, he brushed me aside..." Toru responded, frowning at the memory.
